    It is pure deliciousness.

But it's actually pieces of chicken or veal marinated in spices and piled on top of one another over a spit and then cooked while rotating, then sliced off into a sandwich with delicious white garlic sauce and spicy "red sauce" and various toppings, and then eaten greedily.

Essentially the Lebanese version of a gyro, but arguably one thousand times better due to vastly superior fillings. There's a place three blocks away from me that does standard spit-roasted chicken, lamb and beef, but ALSO does lamb sujuk (spicy sausage) and kofta (ass-kicking Lebanese meatball) shawarma for like $3.50 a sandwich.

You're required to bring a fresh pair of pants when you go. True story.

It's an Arabic term for a meal that's much like a Greek gyro (or Turkish Doner kebab). It's roasted meat, usually lamb or beef, that's been shaved off of a rotating spit, then mixed with lettuce and paprika and cucumber and sauce and stuff like that. It somehow manages to be cheap, delicious, and internationally available (with the sad exception of most of the USA).

Okay, inevitable question: did I leave my jacket in the hotel room last night? It seems I was determined to lose that thing last night.

Also, it's different than a gyro because a gyro is meatloaf.

Best shawarma I've had in the GTA is Osmow's at Cawthra and Lakeshore.

So how many other stops did you guys make last night?

I have some bacon and eggs. No coffee though, coffee is for closers, so I don't drink it.

Mashed black beans. Salsa. Some decent bread. We in here, let's go.

As a college age white boy, I'm pretty sure I'm required to like Talib Kweli (and the Roots). Don't care if it's a cliche, them's the rules.

Well snooki sure knows how to handle a breakup. Go to a quiet bar in the middle of the morning, demand the music be played louder, start drinking, dance by yourself, and then yell at people who don't speak the same language as you about how your boyfriend left you and you're heartbroken. Now I feel like an idiot for not doing this.
