    Of the one, maybe two, times in twenty seven years I've been pursued by a woman I didn't reciprocate feelings for, I would play the "I'm not good enough for you" card. To my knowledge, no woman in the known universe would even think of disagreeing with a statement like that.

    It's probably wrong to employ female vanity like that, but you can't argue with results.

    I feel like Noland. Three hours after I fell asleep, I woke up to three little sets of hands, and three little voices saying "Dad," "Dad," "Tiny." Apparently when you make 90% of all the weekend breakfasts, people who are completely unable to provide for themselves think it's completely acceptable to awaken you out of a very nice dream involving Eva Angelina, and pre-blonde Laura Prepon.

    Why did she go blonde? That red haired natural sexy thing was kind of her trademark. I wonder if she was having a hard time getting parts outside of the "Donna" role so had to do something drastic for her career. But has it helped?

    Ohhh....and I settled on a Halloween costume. We are going Mad Men style as Don Draper and Joan. Partly because we already have suitable clothing, partly because frankly, I have the "curves" to pull off a good Joan. So, I have been tossing around the idea of dying my hair red. I had a hair color mishap a few years past and it ended up on the red side, and it looked alright. I would have to go more drastic though to be believable. Even a little on the orange-y side. Pretty big committment for halloween.

    Whatever you do, go permanent. I did some temporary hair color once and it was a disaster. It was in a spray can and there was a fine red mist on everything, and then it came off on anything my head touched.

    that is good to know, I was thinking of doing some of that spray stuff since I am nervous about tinkering with my real hair. And I don't know if I can pull off the color that it would need to be. Shimmered could do it, but she has the fiestiness to match. Maybe just a wig then.

    You could go semi-permanent. Sometimes the best friend will dye her hair blue. The semi colors say they last a ~month but usually start to fade hardcore after less than a week. Your hair is several shades lighter than hers so it might last a tad longer, but it's a reasonable route to go.
