Re: Great Moments in RMMB History One of my favorites was the infamous LTribbey's "How to Leave" thread. While he turned out to be a complete poser, I was really impressed with the amount of amazing advice given out in that thread. A shame he ended up getting called out in the end. Kind of tainted it a bit. And duh, the dirtiest ones were always the best, um, go-to material to be used at my disposal. Yay for filth!
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History I noticed it changed right after an exchange between him and another user. They called him a nerd or something because he pointed himself out in the Toronto screening video, so Grind responded by bragging about his rep points. Pretty sure he was just joking about it, but it was still funny to see him go from 2500 to -2500 that quickly.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History I actually thought you were pissed at something and were just mass banning people because of it.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History Not a "moment" I guess, but I liked Bunny a lot. I would go so far as to say I had a pretty big e-crush on her. She may have been a little crazy, but I always enjoyed reading her opinions. (Has she popped up on any of the new boards?)
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History It's been mentioned, but I remember the wahoo of that racist website, and laughed my ass off at some of the comments people made until some people went overboard and they blocked us all. Something else I've seen mentioned, though it isn't exactly a highlight - what was with the mass bannings occurring in the last few days of RMMB?
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History The mods playing in their last days there. Focus: I AM A BARTENDER IN THE INDUSTRY!
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History On the advice board when some idiot posted something idiotic about his relationship with his idiot girlfriend, and KFM replied with a picture of The Accomodator telling the guy that it'd fix everything. NSFW Link: http://images.allegrocentral.com/D2/B5/The-Accommodator-556947-PRODUCT-MEDIUM_IMAGE.jpg In the HotWheelz ask a cripple thread, when Natty posted and asked HotWheelz who would win in a fight. Him, a Simon Says electronic game, or some type of strange Marsupial looking thing, all accompanied with pictures. I remember crying reading that. On the same HotWheelz note, when HotWheelz was asking for help/advice/whatever getting laid, and KFM said something about banging his and another cripple's wheelchairs together until they started to spark. DCH's ultra serious replies getting dumbasses to further embarrass themselves on the advice board by getting more detailed about their stupid problems. "Be precise." Smurfette. Just Smurfette.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History Several things have already been mentioned, but I miss Slingblade as an active poster. Most of his good stuff has been re-posted or actually put in the book/movie, but being there for its debut in response to someone or something was hilarious. I fear I'll never laugh that hard again. I will also mention the NYE bad booze thread again. Lots of funny in that one.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History What happened there then? I swear I remember him still being around at the end.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History The was someone that registered as LTribbeys Stepdad. Tribbeys meltdown was a classic. That guy spewed so much bullshit. Said he'd fucked famous people, had money and so on. I think that callout was the best in the RMMBs history. And, it was backed with fact after fact after fact. Poor bastard.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History I had a similar reaction and even made his question my signature for awhile. Every time I posted something after that, I'd see that quote and couldn't help but laugh all over again. It's too funny not to put it in its original form here:
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History Not that it matters, or even deserves a response, but I hadn't banned anyone other than spammers in at least a year, closer to two probably. I had hardly even logged into the board for months until the Degenerate Cup started back up and I had to.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History Who was it he claimed he fucked? I remember the post word for word. "I fucked ______ _______. And the worst part? I'd do it again."
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History Boozy's presence reminded me of yet another one: the mass post deletions he'd do on clusterfuck threads and the messages he would leave in their absence. The last time I recall him doing that was the thread dedicated to getting HotWheelz laid on his 18th birthday. That guy needs to be a mod again. For real. He was one of the funnier ones.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History Oh man, this reminds me. I wasn't around back in the old days when he used to post frequently, but his posts last summer in the Jesse Bradford thread were comedy gold. Some of the funniest stuff I've ever read. Fortunately Tucker reprinted those posts on his blog, so they will live on.
Re: Great Moments in RMMB History I made a sarcastic reply to someone who called me a loser and claimed that I have "over 2500 rep points, dick", Geigs thought it was funny to reverse my oh-so-valuable rep points. I honestly didn't care until it got to the point that every Rep I received was "dude why so red??? TELL ME". I guess I'll clear everything up now: I went through a bad depression over the summer, sadly the depression was funneled into RMMB's R&R thread. It was gay, childish, stupid and worst of all unbecoming of me. You won't hear a peep about my ex unless it's a funny story, nor about any other girls for that matter. Personal shit is personal, that's how it should be. I fucked up, big. Rob4Bronco's is on my shitlist now, and so is the next guy who's going to claim I have a gaping vagina. (amIkidding...?)
