Wow. Dude, those are jaw droppingly gorgeous. Stellar work! Haven’t seen you around in a while, I hope things are going well for you and you’re keeping busy.
Did the paperwork on my Zastava today. Damn is that thing awesome. I'm glad I was wearing a mask because I was grinning like an idiot the whole time I was there.
Picked up the AK today. I'm a happy man. I have 5 mags loaded up and should get a chance to go shoot it Wednesday.
Another reason to own a AK: I bought 500 rounds of 7.62 this morning, it cost $256 shipped. You can probably find cheaper...
Checked off a number of boxes tonight. Got a lever, a Henry, and....woo hoo! It's 45-70! Someday I may even be able to afford to shoot it. 45-70 is running about $3.50 a round right now. This is the exact gun, except mine has a loading side gate.
Spur of the moment purchase, but I couldn't resist. It's like a little baby Judge. Hell, it might actually be useful too.
Well shit. My one exception to my rule of only allowing people to use my firearms if they’re in my presence and I know them personally, is that I fully encourage everyone I know to get their concealed handgun license. And I will take them shooting at my place and let them try my guns in different calibers and let them take the test with my firearm if they don’t have one. I’ll do the same if someone wants to go hunting or learn to shoot. I do everything I can to encourage it. So a bunch of family and close friends are taking a class together in a few weeks. Guess who can’t find ammo?
Our governor passed new rules that were supposed to speed up background checks. It did exactly the opposite. I did the paperwork on my 45-70 and baby Judge about a week and a half ago. I still haven't been cleared to get my guns. At least I did find some 45-70 for $2.50 a round, which is ridiculous, but at least I can put a few rounds through it. (I did come across some 45-70 +P for about $2.25 a round, but I'd rather not dislocate my shoulder.)
It got to the point long ago that I refuse to go to a gender reveal party. Got to consider our safety. You got people crashing planes, setting fires and using explosives irresponsibly. The trend needs to die.
Watched that the other day. A bad accident at the range is when pieces of bullet end up in your lungs. A terrible accident at the range is when pieces of the gun end up in your lungs.
He's a moron. He knew he had super-hot rounds that had done nothing but sit on a shelf and degrade, so he had a special rifle made to handle them... despite many people saying "dude, you're nuts, don't shoot that ammo..." This happened. I'm guessing he should have fucking listened to the experts that said "don't shoot that shit". Hilariously enough, the biggest replies were, "told you you shouldn't have done that". "It was supposed to be fine, we had a special gun built for this..." "Right... and how did that work out for you?" _crickets_
One thing social media like TikTok and Instagram have taught me: people love morons! His regular YouTube videos have 5-600k views. That one has 9 million views.
It took over 2 weeks, but the background checks finally came back and I was able to pick up my 45-70 and my baby Judge. As a bonus, tonight I was checking for ammo and Bass Pro had some 45-70 for $2 a round and .45 Colt for $1.40, so I was able to pick up some more. I have well over 1000 rounds each for my other guns, but I just don't think that's going to happen with the .45LC, .410, or 45-70. That shits just downright expensive.

Despite his "medical training" he keeps calling his carotid artery his "jugular vein." This irritated me more than you can know. Though I have to think it WAS in fact his vein that was severed, not the artery.
