Now now, just helping the more retarded/impaired of the group paint that visual image. A little public service announcement, if you will. No need to get your panties in a bunch. Oh... wait...
Random thoughts: This weekend has been the perfect mix of friends, family, fun, sun, drunkiness, etc. I actually feel like my batteries have been recharged which is the first time I can say that about a weekend in quite some time. I haven't even wanted a drink yet today. Agree on Bridesmaids. My husband and friends gave it a 7-8/10. I would have given it a 9. Maybe the fiance is a huge bitch and all his friends who met her refuse to take part in what surely will be his downfall. But yeah, probably what bewildered said. I need to go on a big ass diet tomorrow. As awesome as this weekend is, it hasn't been kind to my waistline. And a friend of mine is an artist specializing is sexy pinup art, so for something a little bit different, here is my pretty picture contribution NSFW
So, this is 100% offtopic but there isn't really a thread for it. TiBettes, do any of you have experience with body waves? My hair is out of control. I'm going to get a trim and possibly a body wave, if those actually do any good in hair management. I have "just had sex" hair 24/7.
Fucking friends who went to the resovior decided to go to a tree that ismade of steel and makes sounds. This means theyll take an extra hour to get home which has fucked up my drinking plANS completely. I have about 200ml of strong cider left. After that I'm fucked. May have to steal a bottle of wine off my parents or else just go to bed. Fucking bag of wank. Edit: What is a boddy wave?
I had a friend who got one a few years ago. It looked amazing for summer. Have you heard of Brazilian Blowouts? I got one in January and it lasted about 5 months...it made my hair wash and go and looked great.
So, here is more fun stuff to think about to add to the random thoughts. I want to take a trip somewhere fantastic for my next anniversary (which is in March, but I could be persuaded to go before or after), but cant decide where to go. I like a little bit of everything, I like tropical but don't want to have nothing to do except sip on pina coladas, I like site seeing, but don't want to do that every second of every day so that I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation, I like a certain level of active things (like hiking) but don't want to climb Mt. Everest, I like enjoying different cultures, but don't want to go to fucking India because that place looks like it sucks. So far, I am tossing around quite a few ideas including Australia and New Zealand (but am a bit concerned about burning my entire years vacation time in one trip and it doesn't seem worth it to go for less), Greece (but open to other places in Europe), Hawaii, driving the coast of CA, hitting up Napa and then just continuing up to the pacific northwest. I am all over the board. Ideas please? What is the best place that you have ever been? I bet we have a thread like this out there somewhere.
I'm gonna be honest here and say that I've never heard of either of those treatments. I had to google them to find out more. I don't want to straighten my hair though. I just want it to stop having a temper tantrum, which is asking for a lot in 100% humidity.
I have confirmed my kilt rental for the grad formal this weekend. It is going to be awesome, and I have all my one-liner quips ready for when people ask me what I'm wearing under it. But this brings up a serious question: should I go regimental, or play it safe? I await your input. P.S. The local liquor consortium has imported Sam Adams' Noble Pils. And it's actually pretty damn good. Seek it out if you can.
It doesn't straighten it necessarily, it smooths it. It may be exactly what you are looking for. Here is a pic of what happens with 100% air drying, no product. If I would have done that pre-keratin it would have been a frizzy, kinky curly mess. Spoilered for the men who could care less. Spoiler
Oh no, that was just what I was worried about. There is no comparison. My hair is much, much worse. With a little product is becomes marginally better. Hold onto your hats, ladies. We're off for a wild ride. It calms down if I put it in a braid for a couple hours and then let it free, for whatever weird reason. Edit: Or was that your hair after? Because I didn't really see any problem with it.
Looks beautiful to me, just the right amount of curly. Normally mine would be more like this Spoiler So the treatment definitely took it down about 10 notches. Edit - and yes, that was after. I unfortunately (fortunately) don't have good before pics because I spent way too much time and effort to tame it.
I have been trying to get my wife to try that, but it's pretty damn pricey. They want $275 around here for that treatment.
Ask about the Keratin, mine is only $100. It isn't supposed to last as long, but realistically, you will have new growth and want to have it done after a few months anyway. And the first time I had it done it was still doing pretty well after 3 months, I just wanted to have it redone for going into summer.
What the fuck is with all this hair talk and other jibber jabber? This is Memorial Day. We should be talking about 'merica blowing shit up.
There's a kid climbing a tree / jumping up and down on things / goofing around as kids do the next property over, wearing a helmet. Like, one of those skateboarding helmets. Where is lhprop when you need him? Also I'm grilling five steaks. Any day that features grilling is a good day.
