That sounds like how botulism got started. My weekend highlight was a Nutella hot chocolate and an enthusiastic blowjob while seated on an electric blanket. It ain't heaven, but as far as Korea goes....it's damned close.
Don't be so quick on the meanie-meanerson gun. Remember that Asian ladyboys are the easist to be fooled by, and haunt many an ex-pat.
Random fact I learned from an informed board member: The admin can (and apparently sometimes do) read your PMs. Yay big brother!!!!
You thought that an administrator of a computer system might not be able to read communications sent on the system?
Seriously. Every single electronic communication you send can be read by people other than the intended recipient, and I guarantee every single person uses those communications has had a third party read it. Not necessarily the government, but quite probably your employers or the mods/admins of a website you use have done so.
Yep. Every dumb thing I've said on this board has actually just been the mods screwing with my posts in order to besmirch my good name.
I've known mods can read PMs for awhile, but I can understand someone being surprised at it. I think most people, if asked without inside knowledge, would have assumed Kojak could read anything, and probably Nettdata, but it's not automatic that the mods could too. They can, and now more people know that, which is good, but it's not always true that a moderator can in other forums.
I'm not naive. I just thought, perhaps hoped, that the Internet and places like this were the last vestiges of "freedom of speech" and all that. Morally, I hoped that my communication would not be read, if not couldn't be read (not that I've ever sent anything bad or damning, but I will be sure to watch what I say now). Point in case: flatwheels, when I repped him for being an attention-seeking whore along the likes of durbanite, and then he posted my rep for sympathy and proved my point. And yet I got banned for a week for expressing an opinion.
How can you say "I'm not naive" but then say some shit like this? The internet isn't owned by America, the first amendment doesn't apply. What is and isn't acceptable speech is completely up to the admins and moderators of any website you frequent. Even boards like 4chan aren't completely anonymous.
Actually I've seen a few articles this week claiming that Facebook is logging your keystrokes even if you don't actually send the message. Like you type out a status/pm/whatever but don't post it? They're keeping track. Supposedly.
