    We got invited to a New Year's party where one of our friends mentioned beer/wine pong. I haven't been able to drink wine since that night several months back and just the thought turns my stomach. Beer however....

    I don't like to brag (okay, maybe a little), but a friend and I did place second in a beer pong tournament and took home a prize of Boone's Farm wine product. Be jealous, it's okay, everyone else was too.

    They are not common at all. There are 100 year old trees that are in pieces everywhere outside. It's awful. The power has been out for 24 hours and may not be on for three more days here.

    Last time I remember an ice storm was four years ago, but nowhere near this scale.

    I just came in from shoveling the driveway (and our neighbors who are out of town) and my toes were freezing. Somehow my newest little puppy knew this instantly and laid on my feet. I feel bad for all of you guys who don't have dogs.
