Best part is when Ted calls time and goes to the mound to talk the next pitch over with Barney. "High and outside?"
...Or Lily when she says to Robin "Let me Canada this up for ya, eh." And anytime Robin speaks of her panties hitting the floor faster than ____ makes me forget how lame she was with Ted.
That episode actually stressed me out quite a bit. That damn phone rang for half the show and was so obnoxious, and then they had that whole duck/rabbit argument that was more annoying than entertaining. Though the tits on the blond girl were epic.
I called it during the game, its a recording of NPH asking if you're a hot chick and asking you to meet up with him at some arbitrary time at McClaren's pub in 2016.
I too have called the number and can confirm this story. I think they might have taken it down already, but if you'd like to try the numero is 1-877-987-6401.
Things like the teacup pig and the history of hot girl professions are the reason I watch this show. Also, fun fact: Scooter is played by NPH's longtime manfriend David Burtka.
I don't know, I couldn't concentrate on a damn thing ... Not once Carrie Underwood first came on screen. Dear God, she's hot.
Yes, along with the greats like the Crazy/Hot Scale and Slapsgiving. Even thought she had few lines, who cares, she was really hot. I'll take Cavewoman Carrie any day. I'll somehow get past her small boobs. I wonder how long we'll have to wait for Ted to get back to the Mother/Roomate Girl. Hopefully not soon, eps like this are great when Barney is The Barnicle(sp) and Marshall and Lilly are fun couple.
When Barney joined in the round of "Bang, bang bangity bang" I was laughing pretty hard. I am so glad the episode didn't end with him getting back with Robin because that would have sucked.
Busting out the spoons was pretty funny. And Robin still saying "but um" when she interviewed Anita had me rolling. I love the callbacks to older episodes.
I was also scared Barney and Robin would get back together and breathed a heavy sigh of relief when they didnt.
Agreed. I'm really starting to dislike Ted. His constant whining about this one may be "the one" everytime he meets a girl is just grating. Bringing rando's you just met to small private affairs like that is just not cool.
Does anyone actually like Ted? I've pretty much despised his whiny lameness from the start, although to be fair, he has some pretty kick ass moments here and there(although they are few and far between). I'm not sure If I read it here first, but this show should really be called "How I hung out with Barney". Find me and episode where Barney isn't the funniest thing in said episode.
I can only stand Ted when he is hanging out with Barney or when Marshall and him are reminiscing about old times. For example the Tantrum episode or when Marshall's first car died.
By that calculus he was part of the reason this episode was lackluster. His attempts at derailing the conversation by getting everyone to sing the birthday song he composed were really annoying.
The problem with Ted (Josh Radnor) is that he pulls off the lovesick romantic well enough, which is necessary for the series; but while that might be bearable for a two-hour movie, it gets old after 100+ TV episodes. It doesn't help either that, unlike NPH, he can't even begin to pull off the "I get random hookups left and right" role, yet that's what he's been doing for a long time now. I also have a hard time suspending belief when what you're saying ("I'm looking for the one!") directly contradicts what you're actually doing (random hookups) in episode after episode.
I can very easily believe that he goes on lots of dates but doesn't get laid though. Theres plenty of evidence of him dating lots of girls, not a lot of him actually fucking them.
