This is the best episode in a while. The plastic surgery Barney was awesome. I swear he looks like George Takei. Hellooooooo.... Or a Ken doll. "This just in. Manhattan architect gets punched in the throat."
last nights episode was pretty good in general, but Robyn's commercial had me laughing hard enough to miss the end of the episode.
Dayum, Robin looked good on this last episode. And I'm not sure what it is, but Ted seems a lot funnier this season than I remember. Loved his "good luck killing James Bond" line.
They actually managed to do a Ted episode that didn't suck. I loved the line "college Lily thinks those are orgasms."
TWO BEAVERS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!!! This was one of the best episodes of this season with all the porn references, random Alan Thicke, and of course Nicole Scherzinger (sp)...she looked awesome.
Something tells me that in the original script right after Lily asks "I wonder what came between them" one of the guys says "Alan Thicke" and the censors cut it.
The scene where Ted and Barney were watching with Robin had me almost in tears. Its been awhile since this show did that. Kudos.
The compilation of realty show elimination lines was pretty clever. The Bret Michaels impression had me rolling.
After conducting my own extensive empirical study, I concur with the theory that two beavers are better than one.
Great episode though potentially anticlimactic resolution to what wedding Ted was at for the first episode of the season.
Anyone else notice the countdown with the background/props. I caught on at 32 I believe (whichever number was on Marshalls dad's beer). Started all the way back at 99.
It comes from an old song/nursery rhyme called the My Grandfather's Clock: Ninety years without slumbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, His life seconds numbering, Tick, tock, tick, tock, It stopped short Never to go again, When the old man died. You know, cause he was working on a clock. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Grandfather's_Clock
Also, that was one of the best episodes of the whole series. Funny, touching, and a little background subtlety.
Seriously, the show needs less baby talk, and I can't stand the fat chick from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Armetis?) making a cameo in the show, but I can't stand her anything, really. Spoiler Really effing sad about Marshall's dad at the end
