Re: Introduction Wait, I showed up just in time for some hairy nutsack photos? Awesome! Seriously, please no ball photos. I'm all for tits and ass, but I think we can all agree that even when the occasional bad ass/tit photo shows up, it's 100x better than a bad dick/pussy picture. Anyway, I'm glad to see so many old members either coming back out of the woodwork or just moving over here. I haven't posted much in a while, but if the quality of the board here can be closer to what I remember when I joined the board 4-5 years ago, then you'll see me around here more often. Also, my last avatar (a drawing of Tinkerbell) got swallowed by my old computer when it died, so I'm using something new. Still the same old deltabelle though.
Re: Introduction Chater, thanks for taking the initiative with this here board. So what did I miss, are you fuckers talking about me? Of course you were.
Re: Introduction This is a pretty trivial question, but for the old mods: how much time did you have to spend patrolling on the old boards? The law was pretty strict, but not always well-adhered, and I always wondered how cumbersome the moderating process was. I've never participated in any other boards, so I guess I don't really had a frame of reference for what is normal. I realize that much of the moderation happened through natural discourse and daily participation, but did you guys (and gals) have to actively coordinate much behind the scenes? I was a fairly passive participant on the last board and didn't really concern myself too much with board mechanics/politics, but I guess I just wondered how much time you spent moderating. Is it a relief for some of you to not have to be at the top of your game at all times? Yes, this is really dumb, but I always wondered, and since this seems to be the time for asking stupid questions, I figured I better speak now or forever hold my peace.
Re: Introduction Hey Chater, good work so far. Although this phpbb thing looks like it was created by the teletubbies, I think it will work out.
Re: Introduction Do you realize how many times I was referred to as "that guy that signs his red dots"? That was the best part about the validation. When validation was secret, you could send somebody completely over the edge by simply wondering if they smoked johnsons or should have been swallowed by their mother. I started signing mine for shits and giggles, and I was constantly in a flaming war. Then, they made all rep givers viewable. People got afraid because their i-dentity was given away, and the fights were no more. I've also struck up so many internet conversations just from random rep points. I even dreamed about cumming all over SheGirl's devil tits with green dots. Thank you, Mr. Obama.
Re: Introduction Hi All, I lurked at the TMMB/RMMB for about 6 years now and never made a single post. I thought the overly heavy handed moderation made it much less fun the last few years. I did enjoy the boards for my daily dose of humor, and to escape from reality. I'm glad to see some of my favorite posters here. I'll try to contribute here and there, but I'm not quite as funny as some of you fucks!
Re: Introduction Speaking of lost avatars, would anyone happen to remember mine (similiar to this one, but standing with a back view and a little more rope!) and have it tucked safely away? I miss her.
Re: Introduction I'm The Good Doctor and I have been around for about 7 years, in some form or another. I'm mainly here for the annual Lost thread.
Re: Introduction And I remember when some user would sign his rep points with Tucker's name. I think that earned him a perma-ban and changed the policy to non-anonymous (from someone who always signed his points, whether red or green).
Re: Introduction Nice to see a lot of familiar faces showing up since this site was created... I was The Mexicutioner over at the other boards and I didn't post much except in the Pop Culture, Gambling, and MMA Forum [boxing only]. I loved talking about TV shows and music over there. I found a ton of new shows and bands to listen to on the advice of posters over there. I loved reading stories that people would post in response to the topics in the Idiot Board. Some of them were so good [like the guy who dumpster dived while being addicted to hard drugs] that I printed them out and showed them to my english teacher. I'm hoping that this place takes off and its looking good so far. Also, thanks to this site I discovered Nutella. Fuck yes.
Re: Introduction It is nice to see that this board has also been resurrected. I have to say that while I hardly posted as much as some people, I learnt much and enjoyed using the RMMB as a way to procrastinate at work and I look forward to being able to do so still (If I get a fucking call from HR that is).
Re: Introduction Thanks for setting this place up, Chater. I hope we all can keep it funny. I mostly lurk, but sometimes find things to say, so long as the topic hasn't been beaten to death. That's one thing I hope to not see as much here. I also see a lot of familiar names here which is good. I think this place definitely has potential. Also, I don't care how much Shegirl really really wants one with all her heart, I'd vote for no Members Balls thread. Not that I'm judging, mind you...
Re: Introduction I too had taken a few months off from the old RMMB because of the influx in stupid (in a bad way not the haha way) new members/fanboys who all thought they were "just like Tucker". Came back recently to see if things had changed at all and to get some help on my fantasy football picks. Happy to see someone picked up the torch and some of the better contributors have already found their way over here.
Re: Introduction Hey, shegirl, since you're now a mod, I'd take into account this little tidbit That "one time in total" function/information needs to be deleted asap or our combined OCD tendencies are going to be completely exposed. I mean, I like to touch mine all the time but I don't want people to know how many times I can touch it in a day.
Re: Introduction I don't know if this belongs here, and I hate to detract from discussion about whether or not a "members balls" thread needs to exist or not, but I was just checking out the new Chasing Kaz forum and lhprop1 mentioned that most if not all of the Rudius related sites will be shutting down on November 1st. That kind of sucks, and I hope that doesn't apply to ShrinkTalk, PhilaLawyer, Loveonwheelz, or some of the others. Those are some of my favorite sites ever.
