No, it's a 2000. Supposedly they fixed it from '03 on. After that, it had a different issue. As soon as I get whatever my new job is going to be, we're getting a Suburban.
Dude, seriously: You are spending more time arguing about this than it would take to just tag the fucking picture. That's like spending $1000 in legal fees to avoid a $10 ticket.
Who cares what you argue about when your drunk? "It's all the same fucking day, maan.!" P.S. I love you $100 dollar whatever you are! Some days are diamonds and some days are rocks! You are all diamonds with me bud!
See, I'm a happy fun drunk. You must be a start arguments and get punched in the nose drunk. It's all good. Hey, I still have a Bronco. There's more room in a Suburban, and it's hard to find an Excursion around here. Big dog needs a big seat.
Wow the Internet seems angry, confrontational, and full of faux-machismo today. Like...every other day.
I'm only kidding, you, man. GM makes some good trucks. What model Bronco? OJ style? My buddy has a resto '74 Bronco, and it's fucking sweet!
Okay, I'll be the first to admit that that vintage of Ford trucks had a design flaw (only 4 spark plug threads in an aluminum cylinder head in 4.6/5.4L V8s), but speaking as a mechanic, I think a lot of the problems could be avoided by preventative measures. Hey $100T2, did you change the plugs yourself or did you have someone else do it? Regardless of who did it, was some WD-40 or an equivalent penetrating lubricant sprayed into the spark plug holes to lube them up after sitting in there though lord-knows how many heat cycles before they were removed? If the spark plugs are forced out of an aluminum cylinder head, the threads can get messed up (when the majority of the thread material from the cylinder head unscrews with the spark plug). Anyway, what I am trying to say is that even if you get the plugs out, and think you have them back in right, the threads might be damaged, so they won't hold a spark plug in with full combustion force. If it means anything, I have done a shitload of tuneups on Ford trucks/Expeditions and Crown Vics/Mercury Grand Marquis (which have the same engine), and I always lube up the plugs before I take them out, and I have never had one blow out. Hell, my dad's '99 F150 just racked up 300,000 miles last month, I've done all the tuneups on it, and it is still running on the original engine. Of course, sometimes shit happens, and I've even seen stripped threads on iron cylinder heads. Is this too deep for a drunk thread? Anyway, I realized today that after all of the music videos that I have posted up on this board, I hardly ever post anything from my avatar (Johnny Cash). Here's a song I rediscovered:
Fuck, I cannot read this girl for the life of me. No idea at all what she's thinking about. Fucking a this is pissing me off...
OK. Back to our "regular scheduled programming". HaHa. "Our Regular Scheduled Programming". Everyone get in line.
Had the bar all set to close, when 5 minutes of closing time WHAM! 3 of our drunk, idiot members come strolling in wanting booze, and lots of it. Then they proceed to talk about some gay ass idea how they're going to make more money for the next 45 minutes. When my boss tried to politely get them to leave (so he could bang his girlfriend, and I could get home at a decent time), they cussed us out. Seriously, fuck rich country club members. I love my job most of the time, but fuck those guys. Good news is, I decided to hit the bar everyone goes to near my club, and the GM was bartending. Did I mention he hooks my ass up? 2 potent double vodka sodas for $9? Love ya, Fitz! And I'm off tomorrow. A holiday Sunday, of all days. How I pulled that, I'll never know.
