    Worst thing about reading the Iliad is people referring to Troy as being the same story.

    Things that don't happen in the Iliad:
    Helen is kidnapped/seduced/f-closed.
    Greece invades Troy.
    The Trojan horse shit.
    Achilles dies.

    Right, but the whole story is the fact that the Greeks were butthurt.

    In FACT, there's a whole substory about Achilles being butthurt.

    Greeks: often butthurt. Which actually kinda makes sense, if you think about it. Anyway, The Illiad could have been 1/10th the length. Look, what I'm trying to say is that as far as game goes, "captive slave girl without a choice" game is pretty powerful.

    The Iliad is definitely better if you get an abridged edition that skips stuff like how many ships each Greek brought and which minor king stabbed another minor king in the crotch (I remember this happening twice).

    Unfortunately, the class I took tested shit like that. Odysseus has the fewest, if I recall, 50. Each would have carried about 20 soldiers.

    Who would win in a fight?

    Odysseus (Illiad) or Queequeg (Moby Dick)

    Assume Odysseus has a javelin, and Queequeg has a harpoon, and after that, it's a bare knuckle brawl. Odysseus gets help from Hera or Athena (but not both, unfair), Queequeg gets Yojo.
