Old but nevertheless good. And there is always this, a true timeless classic (nothing to do with summer, aside from a cool speedboat but, fuck it):
Threads like this always remind me that I'm a redneck hippie at heart. I don't care if folks hear me playing this way too loud, or see me singing to the dog whilst barreling down the interstate. If you're not for the ABB, we're probably not going to be friends anyway.
This song always reminds me of Cuba: And this one takes me back to elementary school: And a middle school favorite from Tony Hawk Pro Skater:
This one’s old, but still gets the job done: The soothing voice and guitar solo also make this a favourite:
I babysat some friends' kids, and they made me play these both repeatedly. I hated them (the songs, not the kids) for a while, but I gotta admit...I had fun dancing around with these goofball kids and the songs MAY have become a guilty pleasure. And, I MIGHT sing these to get on Someone's nerves. What I'm trying to say is that now I change the station after about 30 seconds instead of instantly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg00YEETFzg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LupeGtJ3a3E
This is my favorite feel good song at work on Friday afternoons. I should probably be embarrassed but I'm not. This song just makes me happy and want to dance around! I'm sure it's not up most of your alleys, but hey, the video is awesome.
Sadly this was the song that jumped into my head, I haven't listened to it or thought of it in years. Fuck you thread. seriously, what is going on in this video?
Any catchy song with feel-good lyrics does it for me. You know, something like: Serious reply: Probably something like Cruel Summer, because I'm old.
Here is my feel good song for all summers. No idea why, but is the only song that never fails to make me smile, sing and dance along. Sometimes all you need to hear is "it's the freakin' weekend, baby I'm about to have me some fun"
