Anyone found a comprehensive guide for the blu-ray easter eggs for season 5? I think I found most of them, but I want to be sure.
I can understand this about almost any other show, but not Lost. I think half the fun of this show is discussing it afterward and trying to figure out what's going on.
I didn't know what I would have done during this upcoming last season without this thread. Probably the main reason I returned to the old board in the last two years. Anyway, here's a recap of the first five seasons in 8:15 minutes (nice touch with the 815 and spoilers, obviously): http://goo.gl/57Gv
I agree. I'm getting some new friends into the show now and we watched the entire first half of season 1 in one night a couple days ago. Half the people still didn't know everyone's names and I had to constantly tell people specific parts to pay close attention to. Afterwards, I asked them to come up with their best theories about what they thought was happening based on the first 12 episodes and one of my friends came shockingly close to predicting stuff about The Others, but everyone else was hilariously off base. On another note, I'm having a season 6 premiere party and going all out (putting Dharma labels on stuff, "fish" biscuits, making my basement look like the hatch, etc.) so I Photoshopped up some sweet ass invitations: (I actually live in Oregon, so the "not in Portland" thing sort of makes sense)
Unless this means ABC is going to push the premiere up by a week, this had better not be fucking true. ABC's 'Lost' premiere may be replaced by President's Obama State of the Union address
In most situations, I would say that the state of the union address trumps network television shows. But this is different.. I refuse to believe this is happening.

Just finished my Season 5 re-watch and I noticed something that I feel pretty stupid having missed, considering I'm the "Illustrious" Dmix3, whatever that means. Hopefully it will be addressed this season, but here goes. Sayid introduces Ben's chest to hot lead, thinking he killed him. Sawyer and Kate give Ben to Richard who takes Ben to the Temple and heals him. Ben meets Widmore while recovering and expresses his wishes to remain an Other. Later we see Ben, fully decked out in Workman gear with Ethan, as they kidnap Alex and return to Others camp. So my question is this: How did 12 year old Ben get back to Dharmaville?
I mentioned this last year when they showed the "Alex getting kidnapped" scene. That took place 16 years before 2004, or 1988. The purge wasn't until '92. Ethan and Ben must have spent a shit load of time working both Dharma and Others camps.
here's a recent article with Damon and Carlton about finishing the series http://www.thrfeed.com/2010/01/lost-final-season-interview-.html Obviously, they don't give anything away. They just talk about how they feel about it and how they think audiences will react.
They are live blogging a LOST conference somewhere right now, most major thing said so far is that both Michael and Libby will be returning for season 6, follow along here http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2010/01/live-blogging-from-lost-tca-press-tour.html#axzz0cQAKZj5E
Just reading some of this stuff has made me realize that i've forgotten alot of stuff, and what a mind fuck this show is.
