Agreed with all those left lane cruisers. I'm going to start making it a thing to pass them on the right, get in front of them and slow down so they switch to the right lane, then speed off at my reasonable 8 mph over.

I just drove 16hours in 24 hours, so I will have to echo the left lane drivers.

I will have to add "Alberta drivers", they go 30kph below the speed limit in the corners and 30kph over in the straight stretches.

 

Has this turned into another thread about disliking bad drivers? Because I am all about cruise control (better gas mileage? yes please) and I hate the people who absolutely must pass you, then get in front of you and immediately slow down. I played leapfrog with this stupid car for ages on my way to Chicago a few weeks ago, and I was going exactly the same speed the whole time. Someone told me that's a Michigan thing, but I feel like I don't do enough driving in other states to pass any real judgement on it.

 

Thats not a Michigan thing, its an annoying asshole thing who can't pay attention to what speed they're driving and what they're right foot are doing at the same time. A Michigan thing is to not slow down or move over for people on the side of the road

 

After my recent experiences: people who slow down/don't completely pull off the road to look at tornados. Yes, I'm sure they do look majestic as fuck. ON MY TV. I got a kid in the car, those things are way too fucking close, and what part of "it's a small one" does not also mean "and it will still fucking kill you"?

If your discovery channel wannabe dumbass wants to look at them and put yourself in danger, great. But don't do so at the expense of putting myself and family in danger as well, because we're trying to get the fuck out of dodge.
