    I fucking love baseball. If you can stand watching Old Glory waving while the anthem is being sang and the jets are about to flyover and NOT get a little misty eyed...I'm sorry I defended your freedom.

    Also - sausage sundaes are the shit. Mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, topped with brisket and gravy, with sausage on the sides, and bbq sauce all over. Fucking yum.

    I just told the guy sitting next to me, "man, I wish people wouldn't boo him. He's just going to enjoy going deep that much more." Thing is, Julio had 2 strikes on him, 2 outs and first base was open. Why he threw anything in the zone. It was a great game, right up until the Braves suckitude came out. If Pierzynski holds that ball, Braves win in the 9th, thank you good night. But, nope. Gordon Beckham used to be okay, but he just phone that whole appearance in. Anyway, Freddie Freeman took Max Scherzer deep, too. So, it was 3-2 Braves in the top of the 9th, their best hitter took our best pitcher deep. And, our best hitter took their best pitcher. No complaints there. The problem is, Julio Teheran is our best pitcher. It's going to be a looong season.

    Check this out. After a number of years, the Braves ended their contract with Aramark as their concessions provider. Some of the new offerings from the new company:

    Trevor Story hit 2 more HR's today. That's 6 in the first 4 games of the season. The first 4 games of his MLB career which has been done exactly 0 times before. Impressive.

    His season high in a minor league season? 20.

    All the folks scrambling for his rookie cards on e-bay are going to be sorely disappointed. Cards that were selling for sixty cents each on March 31st are now selling for $10 each. Selling. Not listed for $10, selling for $10.
