Is it just me, or does this trailer feature some dude licking a large scrotum cut from a bronze statue?
Pretty sure those are the nuts from the big bull statue... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charging_Bull
Yeah, the first thing I thought when I saw the balls was the bull near Wall Street. Fun fact: When I was in NYC in Feb, Mr. Bell wanted to go see the bull. When we got there, the bull had two lines for people wanting to get their picture taken with it. A line for the head, and a line for the balls.
Trailer has me hyped for season two. Got on this show when it was being streamed on YouTube before official debut. It's the one show I really stayed on top of while it was airing (other than Silicon Valley, but usually had to catch up on it Mondays). July 11th can't come soon enough. Christian Slater was awesome in secondary role.
Just a reminder that tonight is the premier. There was also a "leak" of the first episode from the official Twitter/YouTube/Facebook pages for the show Sunday night, so if you want to check some torrenting sites, it's up there as well.
I don't know if I've seen a show before quite like this one. It's so unsettling and purposefully off-balance that it's mesmerizing. The mood and the way it's shot are incredibly unique. The scene where the E-Corp CTO burns the money with Phil Collins playing in the background was strangely awesome. Overall, decent premiere and I like how the season started off. Was not expecting Gideon to get clipped or Angela actually liking E-Corp.
Sam Esmail tweeted before the episode that it would have his favorite guest star ever in it. You could've given me 10,000 guesses and I still wouldn't have even come close to who it ended up being.
Finally got a chance to watch it this weekend. Spoiler: Spoiler: Holy Crap! Alf! With Paul Fusco even doing the voice! And the Full House theme song writers wrote the theme song! I just assumed that the demographic for this show skewed much younger. Does most of the audience even know who that is? That was a pretty sweet way to do inside Elliot's head, including the first commercial break. Gimmicks aside, I thought that was a pretty solid episode, including the tense Angela scenes.
Damn. As slow paced as this show is, I wasn't expecting Darlene Spoiler to straight up murder a bitch!
That's my only argument for this season being a little less than the first season, the pacing is brutally slow.
Anyone still watching? The season definitely picked up and is completely bonkers. I dont know what to make of the last episode. But it was pretty cool that they worked in the soundtrack from back to the future throughout. No idea whether Tyrell Wellick is real or not, but when he was talking, it almost sounds like hes doing an impression of Christian Slater.
Yes, I'm still watching. I haven't seen the most recent episode. I had it and the previous one recorded, and was ready to give up or move it way down the priority list. But, then I watched the one from last week, and the ending has me hooked back in. I may or not be watching each episode just to see how naked USA is going to let Stephanie Corneliussen be. There was a naked picture I saw of her awhile back that was taken from a gound level angle, and she looks like she has legs that are nine feet long.
That was the first pic in jdoogie's link. And, now this thread has been completely hijacked, because here's that picture I was talking about: Spoiler: Tall Spoiler: Booty
