Dolomite. What a great, fun watch. Get on it. Eddie Murphy is fantastic. It's funny, crazy, totally over the top, a real story and full of heart. The music is hot, too. Rush-O-Matic my name, and fucking up motherfuckers is my game.
I it was really fun Id recommend it. It's getting rave reviews. His line about the movie Deep Throat when he's pitching his first album is the funniest line in the movie.
Has anybody watched Season 2 of The End of The F* World yet? I thought season 1 was terrifically insane.
Half way through. I cannot recommend the show enough, it is completely original and hilariously nihilistic. Possibly the best original series on Netflix (along with Bojack Horseman which is releasing its final season), and most episodes are twenty minutes so you can blow right through it.
Finished season 2 today. What a great, original series. Just as bonkers, just as funny as season 1. There was a scene in the penultimate episode where I literally dropped my jaw and froze for a minute. I can't remember another movie or show where that has happened in a long time. Brilliant writing, superb cast, well done all around. Every main character used the one-word response "what?" many times (or "wot" really), with perfect comedic timing or for dramatic tension, which is all the more impressive.
Alyssa is the crown jewel of the show. That actress harnesses teen angst more realistically than any performance I’ve ever seen. It is such a marvellously controlled performance. Janes shines even better this season, he REALLY makes you see his pain.
Horse Girl I don't know WTF I was watching, so I don't recommend it. That movie is totally weird, and I have no idea what the point was. But, if you want to see Alison Brie's boobs a few times, including a full frontal scene, this is the movie for you.
Narcos: Mexico is back on. So far it’s yet another imperfect, but very solid and entertaining season.
I've just finished bingeing 2 seasons of Sex Education, and I offer two things, my friends. 1. Maeve. That girl is ridiculously crazy hot. 2. Near the end of season 2, hands off dad James Purefoy drops some solid truthiness when he is all "All the people who like you, despite your faults. If you discard them, they will never come back. So when you meet those people, you should just just hold on to them" etc.....pretty strong. Oddly good for as light weight as I assumed it was.
The first 1/3 or half of this movie is weird and fun and funny. Then it kind of goes off the deep end, not necessarily in a bad way but definitely in a weird way. Alison Brie co-wrote this one, based on her grandmother’s schizophrenia. I’m not sure if the movie accomplished what it set out to do but it’s worth a watch for Alison Brie’s character’s roommate’s boyfriends terrible raps (I’ll be referring to boobs as “boobie boobs” for the rest of eternity,) and also as Rush mentioned: Alison Brie’s boobie boobs. I will say that if all you’re after is Alison Brie’s nudity, I highly recommend Glow. It’s one of my favorite shows of all time.
Just binge watched both seasons. I thought it was excellent. One of those shows where you're legitimately sad that it's over.
Yo, Generation X: are you ready to wax nostalgic? I will never get that creepy music or creepy Robert Stack out of my head. Classic.
Watching Unsolved Mysteries and Rescue 911 back-to-back at my grandparents house as a kid gave me nightmares every time. No regrets.
