I can't lift anything and the volume of my voice depends on how well I'm breathing.

I've sorta been looking for a custom speaker that could project my voice, hard to find.

Raul, if you remember, I was the guy that started the (unfortunately unsuccessful) thread to get you laid. I haven't really given up on that yet.

Let's find him a horn, a speaker system, some goddamned way to let him yell.

This is one of the smartest, most articulate members of society I've ever met, I would like him to have a louder voice!

 

This is actually really easy to do. You'll need the following:

• A headset with microphone.
• An audio amp.
• A speaker.
• A car battery or similar battery-operated 12V power supply. A laptop battery, perhaps?
• Cables to link the audio path as well as the DC power.

Price tag is probably around 350 bucks. If people are serious about this, I could probably figure out a more refined / less pricey way to do it. The only hard part is the power supply, as it's kinda hard to lug a car battery everywhere.

 

If only he had some sort of motorized conveyance. Perhaps a chair. With wheels. A wheelchair, if you will.

Also, you won't need a full-sized car battery for a loudspeaker.

Something like this seems ideal. It's only $35.

That's why you use Pro-X batteries. Small, and if just powering a speaker will last an entire day, or close enough. I use them all the time on my audio gigs, they're awesome. You can also get an active speaker instead of a passive, so that you don't also need an amplifier.

Yeah, if everyone wants to get in on this we can figure out exactly what's needed and keep it cheap. The NP's i linked are a bit expensive, but they'll do the job damn well.

I figure either a headset or a mic attached to somewhere near your head would work best, or both so you can choose. I figure you don't really want to go all day with a headset on, is there a place near your head a mic could clip onto your chair?

I'm also going to make sure that this happens when you talk.

 

I think a mic would be better. If you want I can send you pictures of my chair so you can get an idea of what you're working with?
