Well the boys have been home for over two weeks now and here are the boys in their pack n play. We start them off on their own sides but most of the time they end up like this. Ben (left) is up to over 6 1/2 pounds while Caleb is over 7 1/2 pounds. Doesn't sound like much but when you start at 2 1/2 pounds and 2 3/4 pounds it is.
Finally, after starting this damn tattoo in 2006, finished up the two flowers. Would love to say it's done, but I have even bigger (and more painful) plans for more work
I ran across IHTSBIH today at Walmart. I had been waiting for it to come to Redbox, so I gave up and bought it.
This is what I opened my door to: Two and a half hours of shoveling later, I can actually make it somewhere. Or I could if I weren't so lazy and cozy.
Here's a pic from my dock a couple of days ago. It was grey, I was drinking a coffee and watering the fish, then within 2 minutes there was this. Awesome.
Cinque Terra, from my recent month in Italy. We had walked from the little white town you can see in the background, the photo was taken about 3/5 through doing the "Cinque Terra Trail". It's harder work than getting pissed on Chianti and perving on sexy wog chicks. The brochure for the trail said "should only be attempted by experienced hikers or extremely fit individuals" I did it with a hangover and a month of binge eating and drinking for training.
My cousin does photography on the side and came over to take some shots of the boys. I loved this one. Spoiler SGEDIT: Spoilered for size. Holy shitballs dude. And another thing, get your poor wife some help before she goes off the post partem deep end.
I just got back from vacation in Papua New Guinea a few days ago and I thought I'd share some photos. These are a couple of the kids in one of the villages that we visited. Sharks! Here's me swimming with a sea turtle. This photo was taken by the captain of our boat who is a professional underwater photographer which is why this one looks better than the others. A clown fish in an anemone that was bleached by high water temps. An upsidedown jellyfish. These guys swim down until they hit the bottom and then just lay there pulsing. Another clown fish. This one was pretty aggressive.
I stuck a homemade fuse into an empty race gas can to help get rid of the fumes before I cut it apart with a torch. Hard to see from the iPhone pic, but that's a lit shop towel burning. It was quite fun.
The previous photos were taken on my iPhone, and I just uploaded the ones from my digital camera. Here's a few; the first one is my buddy, the second me. Mods feel free to delete if you think this is superfluous.
I never thought of Jesus as an 18 year old frat boy, but different strokes I guess. And while we are on Jesus, here is a picture of a cool looking abandoned church I took today.
