Just a couple of pictures I took when I was diving with sharks. Whatever, I'm pretty casual about it really. It was my first dive since I completed the course about a year before. And as it turns out, we saw reef sharks bull sharks, which are known for their unpredictable behaviour and are on of the three most dangerous to humans according to Wikipedia. Although, I can't tell which is which. The only difference I noticed underwater, was that some of them looked a bit fatter than the others. I did have to retouch them a bit, because my camera work wasn't the best.
I was flipping through some old pictures and came across a few neat ones from last summer at the lake we go to. I like sunsets.
Here's a couple crappy cell phone pics from the Mullet Toss this weekend. It's a fish throwing competition on the beach lasting the entire weekend. The first is of a dude winding up about to throw a Mullet from his right hand. The second is looking towards the throwing area from the end in our Beer Pong and Cornhole campsite. *This chick sitting on dude's lap in the 2nd next to the cooler was easily a 9.5: skinny, near perfect ass, and probably some big C's...she drops half a point cuz she was with dude.
Despite his bed being right there, little dude weaseled his way into my spot and is drooling on my pillow! I wish I could sleep that well!
...and left some damage. As soon as the news broke, we fled the newsroom to snap our our personal photos. EDIT: I do not know with 100% certainty that the driver pissed and/or shit his pants. But I talked to a cop, and I can tell you that when the driver is not behind the wheel of a car, he's in a wheelchair.
I found another worm snake (aka Thread snake, Texas blind snake), the smallest snake in North America, one of the smallest in the world. I was hanging around at this salt lake (El Sal del Rey), drinking and thinking, and I kicked over an old fence post, and there it was. I know it looks like an earthworm, but it is a reptile:
Im on the beach in Hawaii right now. This is what it looked like last night. You can hate me, it's ok...
Students' had state-mandated testing all week so as a reward, we made slime in class today. It was awesome.
A picture pulled from the New York Times that made me giggle: Note: The article was about a gay midget.
This is a light month and this does not contain the game schedules for soccer and baseball. That is on another calendar. The M's & G's denote who has to go first on bath night (otherwise they will argue relentlessly about it). The red P with the star is probably obvious (ahem). The court thing is because my car got broken into a few months ago and I had to go testify. The purple P's mean payday. Week 1 at work for my husband is slow, week 2 is busy so I note which one is which so I know when to make appointments aaaaand OTB means that any accompanying instructions or paperwork are tacked to the bulletin board in the hallway, to wit: On The Board. Any questions?
This is my 2 year old - who, when he saw me grab the camera to take this picture, said (in an indignant voice), "I'm just reading mommy!"
