I'm not the one who actually took this awesome picture but that's my middle son there on the right, gazing adorably at his future wife. Seriously. They already have a spot picked out and everything!

Spring is here... momma and baby bear paid a visit while I was working this afternoon. I never would have noticed, except that the momma bear was trying to force her way into the house through the living room door, and I went to see what the crashing/banging was. Thank God it was locked, for a change.

Went running to the bedroom to grab the camera... and the slug gun.

Thankfully, only pictures were needed, but that momma bear freaked me out... she was NOT afraid of me, even though I was inside, and in no way endangering her cub. Either she's becoming territorial about food, or she's starving and not giving a shit... both of which are not normal behaviours for black bears, and make them sketchy.

Saw this car in the parking garage of an art museum.

I can't make this shit up. It had random pieces of porcelain and plates covering the surface of the car and the interior was plastered with buttons and stickers.

Calico bass for San Benitos Island, Baja Mexico these guys are a blast to catch when they are on the chew, we found a huge kelp bed where these guys were eating every iron we threw at them. Of the 50 or so we caught only 2 were kept for lunch.

I'm dog-sitting my boss's new rescue puppy. He looks half yellow lab, half dachshund to me because his body is really long and he's got such short legs, but his paws are big. Spoiler tag cause the pic is large.
    Cute as hell.

I grew up with my parents being bush pilots, and this is a pic of how I spent most of my childhood.

In this case, it's in Thompson, Manitoba, sometime in the early 70's, with my Dad taking the picture, his sister on the left holding my sister, and my mom on the right holding my hand.

Gotta love the awesome fashion of the time.

I had to go to the DMV this morning for a license plate sticker. As I stood in line waiting for them to open the doors a blue Cavalier pulled into the parking lot making herky-jerky movements. My initial guess was that it was a new driver getting in some last minute practice before a road test.

Suddenly the car accelerated and then slammed on it's brakes as it pulled into the handicap parking spot closest to the door. Out climbed the Crypt Keeper. The car is at least 1/3 over the line in the parking space.

I really hope he was there to take some sort of test before his license is renewed.

So I made shirts for me and my buddy to wear to the USA v England Soccer tailgate.

Video taken by the guys hosting it just after Dempseys goal rolled in. I had the Dempsey shirt on so naturally I was running around the parking lot with my shirt over my head and didn't make it in the video.

This is me with my little niece Taylor Nichole, who got to go home from the hospital today. She'll be a month old tomorrow and is up to 4 lbs 1 1/2 oz.

Sorry for the blurry cell phone pic.

Yep, he's wheeling a block of cheese.

A solid block of cheese about to be carved into a bust of Denard Span by the lady in holstein coveralls. In the dairy section of a Rainbow Foods.

Had I not been in a rush to get to work, I would have grabbed a six-pack of Natty Ice, taken a seat, and watched.

Mako shark who came to check us out last week and see what we were catching and just say hi.
He is about 10 feet long and was really not afraid of us, we did not go swimming that day.
