The only exception for me is a toasted tomato sandwich. Toast, mayo, salt and pepper, and fresh sliced tomatoes from the garden. And yeah, the first half has been very entertaining so far.
Cool set design, I liked the last song, but otherwise to me it was meh. I kept waiting for someone else coming out to break things up. Oh well, not bad, just not great. Unless you’re a Rihanna fan I suppose. I still want the Foo Fighters out there someday.
The Foo Fighters would be a fantastic halftime show. I agree also on Rihanna- decent show but nothing fantastic.
Let's have John Williams do a half time show before it's too late. Kick it off with the Sunday Night Football theme, and then run through the classics.
He’s part walrus, what did you expect? The commercials sucked, but the Flash movie looks cool just because of Michael Keaton. By far the best Batman.
I thought the Thank Canada one by Crown Royal with Dave Grohl was pretty good. Not that we got to see it live.
im not a “typical” cowboys fan. Them winning or losing does not change my emotional state for the next week. I have two jerseys — Dak and parsons — but I don’t go around shouting “we dem boys!!!” because I am not, surprisingly, a football player. I don’t have a burning hatred for the 49ers, redskins, giants, and eagles (only their fans). I actually hate most other cowboys fans, because 99% of them are highly intoxicated, highly uneducated, fatass balls of rage looking for something to punch because they don’t get laid enough at home I just like watching football, and the cowboys games are the ones we can get most reliably and consistently on tv here. Ergo, fan.
The upside is that this gives Eagles fans something else to bitch about for the rest of their lives, like the Fog Bowl. They’re still pissed about that.
I thought the Dunkin one with Ben Affleck was pretty funny. Speaking of Affleck and the Flash movie, Spoiler he is also Batman in the Flash movie. Multiple timelines, etc. And, I think that Keaton's Batman may not be Bruce Wayne - he may be Thomas Wayne. And Dave Grohl taught me that George Washington Carver did NOT invent peanut butter. Thanks, Canada! Why was I taught that in third grade and why has no one ever corrected me on that? TJ Miller had GWC in his HBO stand-up special and a bit about the whole inventing peanut butter thing. So, he also didn't know this. By the way, the TJ Miller special is about 2% funny and 98% a waste of time.
