    I think I posted something here about it here several months ago randomly; we studied the parasite's life cyle in my parasitology class. It's like the newest scary topic that everyone wants to freak out about.

    While everyone may not get sick from it, an estimated 50% of all people currently have the parasite embedded in their brain. The effects aren't really well understood though. Correlations between human behavior and the existence of the parasite have been made but they have just started really trying to study and understand it so all we have now is correlation and nothing more.

    The major life cycle path of this parasite is from rodent to cat. A rat/mouse with this parasite in its brain will ignore the scent of cat urine, making it more likely to be eaten by the cat which is the parasite's normal "home". The fact that we sometimes get it is sort of an accident.

    I presently have three living in my garage. Thunder is black and white. Flash is black and white, but with a zig-zag up his nose. Blackie is black. I give it a month before one of them drops a litter and I have to call the Humane Society to come and collect all the kittens.

    The dogs and the cats co-exist, each unaware of the other's existence. This is to everyone's benefit.

    Honestly you very well could be right, it wouldn't surprise me. You would have thought he would have used bursting out of the closet like The Incredible Hulk as a desperate career move by now, though. He hasn't had a hit album since Heart-Shaped World.     It's not just that he's unmarried. To my knowledge, he's never publicly dated anyone, either.

    I could be wrong, though. I totally thought Bryan Adams was gay, then out of the blue his "assistant" had a baby. Shades of Michael Jackson in there.
