I respectfully rescind this comment. Rob Lowe was awesome in the last two episodes. I heard Parks and Recreation is being pushed back to a midseason show, in order to launch a new comedy. No good.

Yeah they are. The last episode wasn't as good as the first two, but those first two were straight up fantastic.

I don't know how a show on a major network can be underrated, but this show is.

I feel exactly same way as Swanson, I. Need. Steak.

I usually consider this show as filler between Community and 30 Rock, but my god it's growing on me. To echo others, Ron Swanson is one of the best characters on television. The bit about leaving steak chunks in his mustache had me rolling.

    Sky Mall camping FTW.

A tent, with a soft-serve ice cream machine, DJ Roomba, and PS3 on a plasma.

    "Camping is fun!"

I don't know if that was just funny, or paid product placement.

Every time I click on this thread, this quote makes me laugh my ass off.

If I hadn't seen anything else about this show, and I saw this quote, I would watch it.

"I love fishing. It relaxes me, and in that way it is like yoga. But this way I still get to kill something"

    Mr. Swanson, for the win.

This season needs more Parks and Recreation, what the heck's with the "one episode every 3 weeks" bs?

No shit. What is it with the networks being as fucked as they are? It seems there's no rhyme or reason as to what day or what week shows will be on.

This time around it had to do with the NCAA tournament.

I know. I've never canceled anything for basketball, nor will I ever. Because I don't consider it a sport.

    Why can't I run a network?

"Re-elect Jan Cooper. Mayor of Whoreville."

Another great episode, but didn't expect Ron to be affected at all by the snake juice

That Snake Juice wooden box at the end?

Yep, really made by Nick Offerman. He does fine carpentry for a living. All the props that he brings in, like that wood carved duck, etc., are all real work by Nick, the guy who plays Ron.

He even has a book/video on how to make canoes.

    No shit.

See... I know that's meant to be a serious video, but I keep waiting for him to break into Ron so I can laugh my ass off. And where's the goddamn mustache?

I rewatched the Snake Juice episode last night. Had to. So many great moments.

I think this has overtaken Community as the best comedy on TV. I love how every episode is not only funny, but gives us a deeper view into the characters. See Ron Swanson encouraging Tom's entrepreneurial spirit, Ron and April as partners in misanthropy, etc.
