Dr. Rob's latest post: A Guest Post of Sorts: Do Fretful Parents Need to be Shot? had me thinking about an article I read a while back and thankfully someone linked to it in the comments and saved me the trouble of looking it up. It's a terrific, compelling, heartbreaking read. Fatal Distraction: Forgetting a Child in the Backseat of a Car Is a Horrifying Mistake. Is It a Crime?

"The Onion" should require no introduction. If you've read that site over the years, you've probably stumbled across "A Room of Jean's Own". Jean: To briefly characterize the fictional Jean's articles, they are amusingly banal, insipid, lacking in self-awareness, and often consist of a puzzled exploration of why various aspects of her life suck. The key here is that Jean is fictional. However I inadvertently found the blog of a real-life Jean this morning - banal, insipid, lame, although authored by someone who is even, although male, Jean-esque in appearance. His recent review of a Colin Quinn show: "He was very funny. We really enjoyed it!". And that is about as incisive as any of the content gets. So amazingly dull its almost funny, I give you: http://www.bobborden.com/?m=201011
