If you've ever wondered about those Scientology folks (religion? cult? con-game?), here is a well-written article about screenwriter Paul Haggis ("Million Dollar Baby", "Crash") who, after 35 years as a Scientologist, left the organization. Lengthy, but well worth your time.

Nett posted up a photo recently from this place and after a bit of investigating, it is a goldmine (especially for those who think they are good at "fixing shit").

    <a class="postlink" href="http://thereifixedit.failblog.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://thereifixedit.failblog.org/</a>

    There. I fixed it.

Holy shit. I found this site through a link someone posted on TiB (don't feel like digging it up, too lazy).
There is so much funny on here. I can't decide if it's a parody, or if people are really this stupid. I'm leaning towards the former. Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on Christwire.org.

Edit: Okay, after looking into it a bit more, it's definitely a joke. But still hilarious.

A game for the iphone that is only audio, you're in a pitch black place and you have to listen to the world around you and react to it. I really want to try it but I don't have an iphone. I love the idea. Costs $3.

"—Requires minimum iPhone 3GS / iPhone 4 / iPad / 4th generation iPod Touch ... does NOT currently support original iPhone, iPhone 3G, or 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen iPod Touches—"

I may not be able to try it but if someone does and enjoys it I'd love to hear what it's like. (Not a scene by scene description but just if it had some cool stuff..)

Yet another instalment of the quadrocopter saga.

This one is them playing ping pong, and I find it pretty fucking cool.

Ahahaha! USC gives us another reason to hate them.

You guys will love where this guy gets his inspiration. This is exactly the kind of misinterpretation those NC State protesters were crying foul about. Also, how creepy is this clown? I feel like I need a shower after reading that guy's drivel.

Here's a story on how some of the special effects for Tron Legacy were done. Sure, the movie was crap, but the special effects were amazing.
