Rave Had a good Thanksgiving. Was nervous for the girlfriend to meet my mother, but everything went well. She baked extra desserts and brought wine so my mom was very appreciative. Rant Nervous about this new job. Serving tables is brand new to me, although the general manager thinks I'll have no problem. Oh well, I'll give it my best. Rant Only the Browns could fuck up a game like that and lose to Jacksonville on their home field. I don't think I can watch anymore.
Rave: Am 38(almost) weeks through being impregnated with the spawn of Satan. (In my defence, I'm quite tiny and fiance-face is six foot, big, black and muscled with shoulders wider than my hips. I'm FRIGHTENED of popping this thing out, since it looks like it takes after him.) Rave number 2: I've found a gym pretty close to home that caters to everything I want and doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to join/go. It includes a pool. Woot! Right across the road from home, too. I haven't really gained any weight apart from baby at all, so I'm pretty stoked to be getting back into exercising and gyming and eventually running again. Rant: Due to my hips/pelvis, I haven't been able to really exercise very much while being all fat and pregnant and shit. Baby is too heavy for my pelvis to hold properly so I can run, apparently, so I'm totally counting down until I can go back to doing all that fun stuff. Rant: Can't have sex for six weeks/can't exercise properly for six weeks/can't go back to work for six weeks after I pop out a squalling and grumpy baby thing that's going to shit everywhere. Rave: I'mma be a mum in a few weeks. I think that's pretty fucking awesome.
Rant: Fucking sick again, my voice sounds like that of a the serial killer using the voice distortion equipment and I've been trying to cough up a lung for most of the morning. ONly bonus is work sent me home for two days.
Rave: Finally getting over the man flu, it smacked me up hard. Rave: Taking an Audi R8 for a drive this afternoon.
RANT: Same shit different year. I don't understand how hard this is. RANT/RAVE: I'm done dealing with it, I've given enough of my time dealing with it and hoping for the best.
R8 was awesome on every possible level, still smiling. Got pulled over by the police on the way back because apparently there had been “several” reports of people driving high powered Audi's and using the mountain roads as “their own personal race track”. Burden of proof is a wonderful thing. If I was in the States I would buy one, I think you guys can get them for $120,000 +/-, Bastard thing here costs over $350,000 AUD + Tax!
I am about to lose my everloving mind. After driving our car from where it was shipped in, new Orleans, to here in Alabama, we took it to a backyard mechanic to do a full tune up. And now our transmission is busted. He denies being responsible. Now we get to do small claims court stuff. To make things worse, my mother has informed me that this guy ( who rents one of their houses) is infatuated with me and has verbalizes elaborate plans to his room mate on getting together with me and taking me back to his country. Aaaaand our house which is getting drywall replaced currently is 2 doors down from this dude. He also misconstrued everything my husband said to him when we talked to him about the car 2 days ago. I don't want to tell my husband too much because he would be tempted to beat his face in. But I also keep nothing from him. Thanks mom. I would be 10000000% better not knowing that shit. So yeah. Fuck this. I am so agitated right now I could come out of my skin (which ironically might happen anyway if I go for a walk at night alone on that street....heyo).
RANT OR RAVE? Surgery on friday. So thats a suck. If everything goes to plan, I'll be able to breathe waaaaaay better and it should help out my heart. So thats a plus. If you don't hear back from me, Thanks guys it was fun.
Let me give you a piece of hard won advice. If you feel compelled to stay up for 3 nights in a row, do not take acid on the third night with people you don't know. Rant: 8 hours of straight up, no other word for it, insanity. Rave: still alive, didn't disgrace myself. Rave: not my friend that became convinced that the fairy lights in the garden were a line of federal police waiting to arrest him. I make good decisions. Ladies?
Rave: Research conference has been cancelled due to the weather. Things are looking up! Rave!: Probably won't be rescheduled since we aren't back on campus until mid-April!
Rant: The Drunk thread got closed by the silliest conversations, leaving nowhere to discuss istealcheese's gangsta status.
Rave: Hopefully leaving Houston sooner than later. Rant: I work on the north side. Turns out that crazy lives everywhere in this place.
