Yep. It was entertaining I thought, and I found I was pretty invested in Stallone’s character in the last episode.

I’m wanting to see season 2.

Speaking of Taylor Sheridan, he also did that new Lioness show with Zoe Saldana. Another fun show that isn’t trying to be high art. Same with Mayor of Kingstown.

Shoot, I've been wanting to watch that Lioness and keep forgetting. I need to get on that.

I like the fact that it's basically a mini-reunion show for Boardwalk Empire and Sopranos.

Me and the wife just finished S2. I enjoyed it, but yea slow, but since we basically only had to wait for the last episode, we werent waiting to catch the next ep and left wanting because of the pacing.

I would describe it as Fallout, if they never left bunker.

I ended up buying the books and reading them. They’re good, but the show is actually deviating from it in ways that strengthen the overall story.

Without spoiling anything, the books started as a short story, but fans clamored for more. The first part of the books (the original short story, which is like the first two episodes of the show) is great, classic sci-fi.
