speaking of dennis hopper, super mario brothers: the movie. i honestly dont know what the fuck he or bob haskins were thinking, this movie is huge pile of garbage. but its awesome and i watch way more than id like to admit.
y'all's google-fu must be really great to find trailers for all these obscure movies. i've had a hell of a time and finally just gave up. my dennis hopper obscure contribution: my science project. in fact, i think that was the first thing i ever saw him in.
agreed. i just stumbled on it last night on one of the hundreds of hbo channels and wondered at it's cheesy awesomeness. (yup, watched every second of it too.)
you know what? fuck you, man. i dig that movie. it's too sentimental, too saccharine, but i love it. it's touching, and played with real genuineness. plus, it is pretty. most of the sets are taken from old master paintings. i'm tearing up a little. sit on it, chief.
"shitty movie" indeed. that film made a couple friends of mine misty-eyed. i wouldn't wipe my ass with that it, i truly hated it. some people like it, i did not.
i am honestly disappointed this beautiful gem hasn't been brought up yet. those ferrets were fucking bosses. also there was a wonderful time where america was obsessed with ninja warriors. i remember seeing this in peru dubbed. i really want to watch the original now.
