People Under the Stairs "Montego Slay" Specifically the lines: I'm a one minute man, I lick it then split it Empty it out, fill it in like the blank and I'm out. It's not Slayer or As I Lay Dying, but I get pumped with a nice beat and some ill rhymes.
I'm sure there are lots if I put my mind to it, but the most recent knob turner is New York by Jay Z and Alicia Keys. I can't do youtube at work so no linky from me, but you should totally check it out just for Alicia's getup - it's perfect. Edit:
Or this........pretty cool video here too. I tried to do a thread like this but for music that I, ahem, ride my bicycle too. So here are the rest of mine with noted contributions from other board members.http://www.theidiotboard.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=821 That old EBM music makes me drive fast also.
Every time I hear that song in my truck I wish I was still in my Mustang, at night, driving fast, and listening to this:
I was just driving around for the first time in ages again and managed to wreck the speed limit with these two songs, which are incidentally on the mix cd buried in the glove compartment: Also, the video for Breathe is one of the better music videos out there.
I cant even play this song in my car anymore it gets me so pumped. Video may not be safe for work...Suicide Girls and such.
On a nice sunny day like today, heading down some winding road on my bike, or in a convertible, something with the wind and fresh air blowing in your face and an ear to ear grin.
This song almost got me a ticket on my way home from visiting my sister today. I have a lead foot anwyway, this definitely didn't help.
There's 100's. Being exposed to music & watching someone extremely talented makes me concentrate on chords I know I can never play, but I have the bad ability to start picking out lead guitar versus backup versus bass, etc., and half the time I'm concentrating on splitting the song up. One I started listening to again on a CD I burned a few months back almost made me miss a stop sign in the middle of nowhere....
How about some old DC hardcore. Nothing beats Bad Brains to get you moving. Pay to Cum Sailin' on There is something about 4 black dudes doing punk much better than the white kids that makes me laugh.
This SRV cover of a classic Stevie Wonder tune ALWAYS gets me going... it's one of the best jam tunes ever. There are so many awesome versions of this song, it's crazy.
