    Here in Virginia, there's a rumor we may get hit with some snow on St. Patrick's Day. Honestly, I kind of hope so, at least enough to close the office. I'll sit at home watching House of Cards and eating irish car bomb cake.

    My alma mater CSU Stanislaus just won it's very first NCAA Div 2 playoff basketball game. My son just ran his quickest mile ever in a county track meet. I have a nice six pack of Dust Bowl India Pale ale and overall, things are pretty damn good at this moment.

    I posted something on Imgur yesterday and it went on the front page a few hours later. I've occasionally posted some random stuff on there but this one just took off from the start.     Nice man! The comment about hoping it was for a broom made me laugh more than I care to admit.

    Felt iffy at work yesterday, stomach hurt all day. Hoped it was just some, ahem, movement that needed to take care of. Didn't go out last night hoping to head it off. Was woken up around 4 with my body sending me some strong messages. Think it was some acute food poisoning, god knows from what. Bad enough that I slept on the bathroom floor for a bit so I didn't have to run back and forth. Was half asleep and delirious cursing everything both from pain and thinking I would be out of commission for St Paddys Day. Woke up this morning a bit iffy, but after a large Gatorade, some food, and some Pepto, I feel about 80-90% and that is more than enough to push me out the door and ready to be foolish. However, given what large quantities of it do to a normally calm stomach, I will not be consuming much green beer.

    I'll drink the green beer for you today. Actually the cider place a few minutes away sounds good now too.

    My girlfriend signed up for a secret shopper thing where we get to go to restaurants and stuff for free, but first we need to do some other mystery shopping and in a few minutes we're visiting a Chevrolet dealership and pretending we're interested in a car. She sent an info request through their website and got a five paragraph response from a sales guy including a huge headshot of himself. She has repeatedly told me we have to take it seriously, but this could be fun.
