Coming from a guy that usually wouldn't hesitate in pirating anything, HBO and Showtime, and all of the record companies can own my ass for eternity at this point... I cannot wait to give Louie CK my money. I mean, I did download his TV show for free, but come on, I pay for cable, it aired, and I just missed it. So I'm going to pay for this. He deserves it.

I've heard this whole bit 10+ times (I listen to it at work) and it's still hilarious.

    Goof juice!

Just watched Greer Barnes do a Comedy Central Presents half hour bit. He's either an amazing actor, or was stoned out of his mind for the entire set. Still fucking hillarious.

My friend Mark Forward made it onto the Craig Ferguson show. It's a pretty big deal for a Canadian comic. Good on him.

Jim Jeffries' new special. Any ideas on where I can watch this?

If you haven't seen him before, he's one of my favorite dirty comedians. His bit about the egg or his disabled friend are Goddamned priceless.

Highly recommend this. I came down from outside Toronto to see him in Chicago back in mid-November and it was worth every penny. Tickets were only $45 each, and he did 90 minutes of all new stuff. Todd Glass opened for about 20 minutes and his act was okay, but Louis was killer. It helped that the crowd was mostly fans and no one was douchey. How he creates so much great material so quickly astounds me. Absolutely go if you can.

If your a fan of Jim Gaffigan, then I recommend his newest release Mr. Universe. Hilarious and has the ability to restrain himself from barely ever cussing in his act. It's only 7 or 8 bucks on iTunes also.

This may be a big part of it:

    <a class="postlink" href="http://www.metrocomedy.com/2011/09/louis-c-k-im-doing-exactly-what-he-taught-me-to-do/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.metrocomedy.com/2011/09/loui ... -me-to-do/</a>

The 10-minute video (which I can't seem to embed on this device) is very, very, very fucking good. I can't recommend it enough.

Amy Schumer's "Mostly Sex Stuff" is fucking great. My girlfriend was in tears.

Also, Kyle Kinane is one of my new favorites.
