So I've never used Ashley Madison, but I can't help but wonder how the site maintained people's privacy up until now. Do they not have photos of users on profiles? I feel as though if someone very high-profile were using the site, a screenshot of their profile would have leaked by now. For that matter, literally anyone could have signed up for this website, trawled through the profiles of people in their area, and then leaked screenshots. I just find it hard to believe that such a notorious corner of the internet has somehow been a haven of anonymity. I mean, there are whole forums and subreddits dedicated to sharing NSFW snapchats and tinder moments that were never meant to see the light of day. It is a stark reminder that people cannot be cool and we cannot have nice things. How has Ashley Madison evaded this until now?
I don't believe that number. There are about 240 million adults in the US. I know that database is probably more than US, but there is no way 30 million people signed up on Ashley Madison.
In the event you're the curious type, here's two different websites that allow you to search by E-mail to see who has an AM profile, and if they do, read the details about them: This isn't creepy at all
I'd bet that a lot of them are duplicate/alternate accounts. You might not want the girl you're cheating with to know about the other women you're cheating with. Also, there's probably a bunch of accounts that have been abandoned and never deleted.
World-wide. It's a Canadian company (they also own CougarLife) but those numbers are everything from the UK to South Africa, they're all over the map.
Crown? 1 out of 13 Hamiltonians is on infidelity site Ashley Madison: analyst http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/hamil...idelity-site-ashley-madison-analyst-1.3197377
Get it right he is from London, which actually has 1 out of 10 people. Then there is Mississauga just about 1 out of 10 people which could be Angel.
My bad. I know of someone on the internet from Hamilton, but now I don't know who to cast my suspicion at.
http://www.people.com/article/josh-duggar-infidelity-pornography-addiction-statement Fantastic. Fuck you, Duggars, you hypocritical assholes.
My cheating is done exclusively with street-walking whores and distracted farm animals. Speaking of farm animals, the board member from Hamilton is jordan_paul. I am yet to hear about anyone I know on the list, but I expect that to change.
I still don't know if this is better than when Ted Haggard got busted with a gay prostitute smoking crack.
Most unfaithful states, ranked. This is getting more and more awesome by the minute. As the article notes, Alabama is most likely first because people often use cash gift cards to pay for accounts, they have to pick a state and Alabama is the first one on the list. Also, there's plenty of cousins and sorowhores there to satisfy one's cheating desires.
Remember, the assholes who say they can control how Cupid aims his arrows always turn out to be the biggest freakshows of all.
I wonder if the hackers have any criminal liability for the suicides? I've never really thought about that... Personally, I don't think there should be.
I am on the fence. But leaning towards no. They are the ones that cheated, and someone else could of exposed them cheating. Which is why I am thinking no, because what is the difference between someone seeing them cheat and a hacking leaking the info.
