From what I can tell, only 1 person actually had Amy Winehouse and that person was IWantSomeJuice (and it just so happens to be the first reply in the thread). I'm kind of surprised more people didn't have 'er (including myself).
Probably because Charlie Sheen has been living that lifestyle for longer than Winehouse was alive. At least that's my thought.
I never thought I would ever agree with that moron that writes for WWTDD, but here we are. I agree with this wholeheartedly:
Well apparently whatever shithead who wrote that screed gave enough of a shit about her life to rant about it. Say what you want about her but she had talent; which is a helluva lot more than you can say for the likes of the Justin Beibers and Keshas of the world.
The day Bieber becomes an addict (preferably heroin) is the day I start listening to his music. That would be some shit.
So because she had talent she deserved to live? What the hell does talent have to do with anything? I didn't realize the grim reaper listened to pop music.
For fuck's sake, let's get off the whole fucking "deserve" part of this all together, can we? I really dislike when people say shit like "I'm glad so-and-so's dead" as if they're some dark, edgy, badass. When it's Osama Bin Laden who's dead, yeah, that's understandable when people say they're glad for it. But Amy Winehouse? As far as I'm concerned if you're the type of person who's glad she's (or Kesha or JB, for that matter) dead and are feeling smug about it (like the post I quoted), then you need to grow the fuck up.
There's a huge difference between being glad someone's dead and making a point not to grieve over a wasted life. Just like there's a difference between posting thoughts on a message board and going on a bullshit moral crusade to rally against trivial celebrity news. Time to pick up a new hobby.
No partial credit but you do get a yellow participation ribbon. I am batting 200 as I correctly picked Jeff Conaway, *edit: should at least spell his name right.
