They just sent 66 more kids home with measels in California from one school. Gosh, if only there was a way to combat measels we wouldn't have this issue.
Imagine if there were some sort of mystical serum they could take where after only two doses a person wouldn't get the virus. How amazing would that be?

My understanding is that a lot of the parents are educated upper middle class. And from what I've been reading, they think the news is lying. I read this one thread where they even supposedly called Disneyland and were told only ONE worker was sick. So people are just out to get them. Besides, we are supposed to get measles. It's not like anyone dies from them. TONS of these people had them when they were younger and look, they're still living. It's like I want to stop reading some of those threads but I...just...can't.
I had measels in grade nine, one of the worst nine days of my life. I thought I was going to die. Kids who aren't vaccinated should be expelled. Fuck their parents beliefs. Their beliefs are wrong based on proven fact.
That's much better news, then. Not just that less kids have it, but they're sending them home without proof of vaccination.
More interesting is how the media seems desperate to spin the story as the school punishing the students rather than accept the possibility that they don't want the students to get sick, especially under their watch.
I've pretty well lost respect for the media, as a whole. There are rare exceptions, but most of them are sleazeballs.
The theory I heard was that it was some chemtrails thing where the people at Disneyland were deliberately infected in order to scare the anti-vaxxers into changing their minds.
