    TN feeling good? I asked off for the first week of August and we're hoping to take a day trip to somewhere cooler for some hiking. We are thinking about Gatlinburg. I might have waited too long though....A month out and there aren't a lot of cabin rentals that accept pets that are available.

    I drove my friend to the airport this morning at 6:30. It was 84F. It feels like drowning.

    For some reason I am having piping hot coffee with Grand Marnier. Soon everything will be a wonderful idea. I am vacillating wildly between spending the next 3 days drunk or doing nothing at all. Either way, I'm making stinky cheese big macs tonight. Glorious, glorious foot smelling cheese. My breath is going to melt steel. Well, more so.

    I accidentally made a pomegranate martini this afternoon. I made it in a mason jar so it's not that fancy. It is, however, very tasty.

    Back in the day I would always start drinking first so I didn't get stuck driving (yes, I'm a jerk) apparently I'm pulling that card again today. At least the kids birthday party will be more tolerable that way.

    This is special. This is from the year I started buying cards. 9 year old me knew nothing about baseball, but I knew who Willie Mays was. I remember jumping for joy when I found this card in a 10 cent pack (With 10 cards in it). This one was a wee bit more then a penny.
