    Personally, I spent a couple hours at the local Home Depot spending some cash on the Canada Day sale they had... now I'm getting hammered on Crown and Gingers and grilling steaks in the rain. Yes, it's 32°C and pissing rain.

    Fun times!

    Meanwhile all the classic cars are bailing out of the local Canada Day Festivites/Fairs for fear of getting their cars wet.

    I had two great aunt's on opposite sides of my family, they were both absolute characters. I miss both of them dearly. You wonder how people our age will act at the advanced age I always knew them.

    I knew a few of mine. My favorite one was the one from Cornersville, Mississippi, general store and a church Bum Fuck nowhere. She educated herself and traveled the world. She spent her 70th birthday canoeing down the Amazon. She tried to hide her humble beginnings, but every now and then the Mississippi would come out and it was glorious.
