Gawd, everybody knows that safety rhyme. It's "wine before gin and tonic, then time for a high colonic." Although, I have also heard it, "wine before gin and tonic, then also have some more straight gin, then mix the remainder of various liquor bottles together, pass out on the floor of the bathroom and regret trying to rhyme with gin and tonic."
Im guessing having a white girl and asian boy as native american was intentional, but, I'm triggered.
My daughter wants us to bake pies for our Thanksgiving dinners. She has requested a pumpkin pie and a chocolate pie. It's like she knows apple pie is my favorite and she hates me. Anyway, I always make my own pie crust because it tastes much better than the store bought rolled pie crust. The problem is that I already have a refrigerated pie crust at home that I had bought to make something else. I kind of want it out of my fridge but I also don't want to bring a good pie to a family dinner when I could make a great one. So do I just use the refrigerated pie crust or go all out and make the whole pie from scratch?
How old is she? I don't think she's old enough to hate you yet, I think that happens at 11 and lasts up until about 27
I felt triggered for the black pilgrim. At least they weren't throwing out gender pronoun assumptions. There's only so much an it can take.
Yesterday a transgendered person informed a small group of a class that we're both a part of that they can't be there because they have to pick up their daughter. This person went male-female, the daughter thing,...., mind blown
Are you shocked that people with penises can have daughters, or are you shocked that adoption is a thing?
I thought everybody was making apple pies with cinnamon rolls? So, you can use the crust you already have, since you're going to use cinnamon rolls for your apple pie.
It was just an idea. I didn't say you had to use canned cinnamon rolls. It was just the first YouTube video that was short. Some people like fake boobs, some people buy canned cinnamon rolls. Can't we all just get along?
Go for the homemade pie crust. You gotta train your kids young to start making it....and ruin them for future SOs. "Oh, you have store-bought pie? My mom always made hers from scratch. Even the crust. But this tastes just as good, I swear."
I'm not making apple pie today anyway, cinnamon rolls or no. I had to work a couple hours late today. I hurried to go get the kids from the in-laws and nobody was home. Apparently they went shopping. Now I'm home alone and I'd like to just go ahead and make the pies in silence but I promised E that she could help me make them. I'm also tempted to crack open a bottle of wine but I should probably be responsible instead.
My 11 year old daughter loves cooking and baking. (Go figure, she was basically raised in a restaurant.) She's at home right now making fudge(my grandmothers recipe), brownies, lemon meringue pie, and pumpkin pie all from scratch. So yeah, my vote is to make it from scratch. Edit: For what it's worth, both my 11 and 12 year old still like us, so we're milking it...for all it's worth.
