Praise Jebus that searching "boobie thread" does not put my favorite internet hangout on the first page of a Google search. I may have let something slip to a friend but I think I'm probably safe. Maybe.

I am not a smart person when I'm drinking. Which I'm apparently doing all week, since I'm 2 for 2 so far.

Why do I open my big fat mouth?

OK, I waited 30 minutes, but I'm still going to let someone else have that one.

I really laughed at this... farmer was pissed off at some protesters that had set up on his land, so he "handled it".

For those of you who don't understand, that's liquid shit that is used as fertilizer that he's spraying around them... and it is one of the most disgusting things you'll ever smell.

Not all of those are created equal. Cow shit isn't that bad. Hog shit is significantly worse. Chicken shit is the worst but is too dry to be spread this way. I've worked in all of them and I can tell you I'd far rather work in cow shit, the smell doesn't stay with you nearly as long. No matter what type it is I love that he did it and they deserved it. I wish he would have gotten closer but at least it looks like he went around them so they had to walk through it.

Yep, but in the end, any liquid shit is much worse than non-liquid shit.

    That was a shitty idea.

Dude leased his land for fracking. Greenpeace wanted to protest. A judge issued an injunction to stop their protest. They set up (trespassed) anyway. Here comes the farmer.

It's even funnier - this tent group had set up a studio kitchen and were baking cupcakes as part of their protest.

I passed a field being sprayed just yesterday coming home from work. I wanted to slice my fucking nose off. There is the smell of shit, then there is THAT. It feels like it attacks your sinus receptors with razor blades.

Apparently one of the protesters was Emma Thompson.
Here is a story about it http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...-breaks-injunction-to-stage-fracking-protest/

    Yes.

Speaking of things to protest . . . is Anna Kendrick trying to bring back mom jeans?

Been seeing more around here in the past year or two. Plus I think we've been getting worked up over stupid high waisted shorts every once in awhile too. Bah, fashion.

Pssh, mom jeans have been back for a couple years now GRAMPS. Those aren't even that bad. It's the light wash ones that are much worse.

I've been doing my part in stopping the madness by scowling whenever I see them out in the wild and shaking my damn head whenever one of my friends wears them, but I was never able to stop leggings and so I don't have much faith I'll be able to stop this either and for that I am sorry.

Haha, yeah yeah yeah I had a feeling most of you wouldn't be terribly upset that I failed in that mission. To be fair, the options for leggings have gotten a little better now so that they actually look like clothes meant to be worn outside and not the lazy day/house lounging/workout clothes I've associated leggings with since I was a little kid. I'm a snob who thinks it's a shame how lazy Americans are when it comes to clothes and the acceptance of leggings as pants was just another loss in the battle against people looking like they just rolled out of bed. It's one thing if you're getting groceries, whatever, but I will forever clutch my pearls at seeing leggings worn to nice restaurants or the theater or something like that.

(Full disclosure: I am wearing leggings right now. But I'm working from home and will be doing yoga after I'm done working so IT'S FINE.)
