The above Glorious Scene is part of The Batman Movie. It's on Netflix. Watch it and report back. If you watch while on the reefer you might cry from laughing so hard. It is magnificent.
I have made it four minutes and twenty-five seconds into this movie, and I am speechless. I have it paused right after they wheel the batcopter out into the runway. No words.
Ah yes the classic batman movie. The anti shark batspray is one of my favorite gags. I still wonder if the producers truly were geniuses of humor or not.
Just FYI, I have seen the new Lego Batman movie and it is f-ing hilarious. I don't mean fun, I mean funny. Like, I laughed out loud several times. At points, it's very fast-paced and it's hard to keep up with all the gags and references. The voice talent is crazy: Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, Zach Galifianakis, Jenny Slate, Jason Mantzoukas, and on and on. Brent Musburger does a voice! http://m.imdb.com/title/tt4116284/fullcredits/cast?ref_=m_ttfc_3 But, relevant: there are several past Batman jokes, including nods to Adam West's version and a shark repellant bit. Robin: My name is Richard Grayson. But, my friends call me Dick. Batman: Kids can be cruel.
Good to know, since the last Lego movie was excrutiating. If it wasn't for the ocean waves I would have hated it entirely.
Seconded on the lego Batman movie. I went to see it with my daughter last weekend and it was hilariously entertaining. I love how Batman is already talking shit about Superman literally 5 seconds into the film. Like as the Warner Bros/DC logos are showing in the opening credits.
