Thats fucked up in so many ways. Nevermind Disney manipulated her into portraying herself that way for fuck tons of money, no apparently she willingly consented to be a sex symbol without any sort of coercion or ignorance. As history has shown, Disney has never taken advantage of young women without disregard for their well being
Her most recent single is LITERALLY about walking funny cause she got fucked so hard the night before. Not even subtle in lyrical content. If you want to play that card, you can't get offended when people view you sexually. FOH Lolita
In her defense, the guy did make the comment pretty much right to her face. Though I would've had more respect if either her or her boyfriend would've done something other than complain on social media. In more important news, I have to say the cafeteria at work makes the best bacon I've ever had. They hit that mark of the goldilocks quality of being just crispy enough and just chewy enough and it literally just melts in your mouth in a mouthgasm of flavor. I've been trying to cut back and eat healthier but goddamn that bacon is impossible to resist.
I'm loving the shift and backlash against the SJW's and political correctness and pray for it to continue. Any sane person knew what Steve Martin meant, at least those of us not scanning the internet daily looking for something to be "offended" by.
He basically wrote "so much more than just a pretty face," but in a better way that made you think and smile. Would that have been wrong, if he wrote it like that? I just don't get it. Some people are just dicks, and there's no shortage of them in the entertainment business. But, if you've paid attention for half a second, you'd know that Steve Martin is most certainly not a dick. He is a kind and funny man, who has entertained millions of people for years. He is unassuming and continues to enjoy his life in new phases with folks like the Steep Canyon Rangers and Edie Brickel. His friend died, and in his grief, he tried to share a nice, public comment. And, then motherfuckers shit all over him. Fuck them.
I think these comments need more context: http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/...ation-after-insulting-fan-encounter/95910524/ She's not mad at people thinking she's sexy. She's mad because while she and her boyfriend were getting in a car, a fan came up to her boyfriend and told her boyfriend he's lucky he gets to tap that. She felt like the fan commented that she was there to satisfy her boyfriend, and she felt dehumanized by the experience. I don't think she's complaining that people think she's sexy, I think she's mad because someone made a comment that made her feel like a sex object instead of a human. I think she has a point. Sexuality is a very personal thing. While she may have a sexy public image, maybe she doesn't want to be thought of as a slut in her personal life because of her public appearance. We don't know, one way or the other, so everyone needs to be respectful, regardless of her public image. I think we've seen the effect that this kind of public attitude can have on young women. There are several prominent women who were young pop stars that kind of ended up messed up because of everything that goes on with that.
I think it's offensive of her to belittle the fan's expression of "his" sexuality. How does she know it was a "him" to begin with? Pretty presumptuous of her to take the person's gender so lightly. What if the fan was African American as well? It would be culturely insensitive of her to judge a minority group's norms regarding males' treatment of females in regards to sexuality. Is it just the cis white privilage sexuality we should be concerned about? Some gays were applauding George Micheal for being a shameless cruiser, treating random strangers at public parks like pieces of fuck meat. We applaud that but should be outraged that a guy celebrates a girls sexiness? Hmm??? HMMMMMMMM?!?!
I'm projecting my values onto this situation. Those values tell me that every persons' sexuality has the right to be respected, regardless of appearance gender or anything else. My values also tell me that George Micheal was being inappropriate doing that and I wouldn't condone that either. My values also inform me that everyone should be treated respectfully, once again regardless of gender, fame, or appearance. I wouldn't act as that fan chose to. My personal constitution would prevent me from making such comments. You guys can decide how you think society should behave, I won't get into arguing that topic.
To me the big issue is that the asshole had the nerve to make that comment pretty much right to her face. That's out of line. Just because she may present a sexualized image of herself as a part of her performances doesn't give people the green light to disrespect her right to her face. To make an analogy I think may of us here can identify with, how many of us work in IT and get sick and tired of people who learn that and then expect to be given free help fixing their computers? Or lawyers, doctors, financial advisers, etc. who get solicited for free consultations? It's not exactly the same, but it's in the same realm as people thinking they can treat you a certain way or make demands of you just because of what you do for a living.
Yeah, under normal circumstances I think the dude making that comment would have gotten a mouth full of a bodyguard's fist. However, I have discovered a wonderful trend of porn stars that closely resemble pop stars.....google "Chloe Amour" next to Ms. Grande. Full disclosure: Ms. Amour may or may not have a face. Point is, we all learned a valuable lesson here about treating women as sexual objects.
I like to post stuff on here in hopes others will join in ridiculing it. ...like your FACE!!!! OH SNAP!!!!!
My son's ex girlfriend posted on twitter: "Jan 1st is the start of our 2017th revolution around the sun. It's not some life changing miracle worker..." Thank goodness she's an ex.
I'd like to thank those of you that left me very kind words in regards to the friend I lost. It does make a difference to me. Happy New Year everyone. Be safe and smart. HA!
It sounds like the guy made a douchey comment. What I don't get is the part where you throw a tantrum for days and run with one random person's comment like your entire identity and existence was shattered, and you can only put it back together by streaming through and explaining how bad you have it as a rich and successful beautiful woman, otherwise people won't even know. I don't even know if she takes it seriously, it's like that actress from the ghost busters movie. Maybe her agent told her to whine about the deplorable state of womanhood constantly because the circus seals will love it and it will get you more press. Or she's just super fragile and hasn't gotten used to the idea yet that as a celebrity you're going to bump into the occasional weirdo. Even if you're not a celebrity you bump into the occasional asshole. Gosh.
Dibs for the 2017 dead pool. It's impressive that he doesn't kill himself. All that alcohol is one thing, but combined with the massive amount of weed he smokes before doing the videos I just don't know how long he'll last (he's talked how he has to get high to do the videos, and go check out the video of him eating the cactus unless you're squeamish).
