Finishing my last Yazoo seasonal in the fridge, then moving on to some Leinenkugel shandy. And because it's one of the best TV themes:
Cheers right back at you. Relaxing with a bottle of wine and watching Need For Speed... nice mindless way to enjoy the night.
Speaking of which, the goal is to attend next year's 24 Hours of Le Mans. Really looking forward to it.
I've never had actual track time like you....I'm jealous as hell. The best I've had is our old stock car track back home that we could sneak on to when I was 16. It did have high banked curves, but it was also dirt. There is nothing like going into a banked corner in a 6 cylinder Gremlin at 85mph and feeling that fucker wanting to climb the track and realizing your only hope is to put your foot to the floor and hope that 258 six cylinder has enough in it to pull you through the corner. Thankfully it did. I only did it once. It scared the shit out of me.
Tequila screwdrivers taste like breakfast. The tequila almost gives it a slight bacon like flavor. What are rainy Saturdays for if not morning drinking?
Well yeah, that will happen at some point. If I hear "American Soldiers " one more time I'm going to scream. It's too early in the day to be maudlin about those 3 years in the 80s that you patrolled West Germany. Apparently some guys here started drinking even earlier than I did.
Bullitt was on the Turner Classic Movies channel here last week - you know I dvr'd it. Still a good movie. It was raining and windy here this morning too. However, I just slept and crawled out of bed for the end of Q1 of the Spanish G.P.
Earlier this week I noticed all the signs and tarps were taken down from our yard. Crazy still hasn't said anything about it, so I'm guessing he was told to take the bullshit down or face a lawsuit. The cameras are still up in the trees and he keeps telling me about the neighbor flipping him off "For no reason". Oh, I think he's got a pretty good reason.
