Hands down COD Black Ops has to be the best video game Ive ever played. The story was so good Ive just blasted away the past 10 hours playing it. Such a wild game, and the ending was twisted. Cant wait for the next one.

The winter in Denver so far has been mild, to say the least. Today, it was in the 50s. I leave that for my once-a-year East Coast pilgrimage home, and I'm greeted by the OH MY GOD EVERYBODY FUCKING PANIC snowstorm of the century. God damn it.

Good point. Maybe I'm just looking for the dude on the wrong day.

And come to think of it some guy approached me last spring calling himself Jesus, but I wrote that off to Mad Dog 20/20. And if Jesus doesn't have the common fucking courtesy not to smell like he shit himself before walking up to people I don't want to deal with him anyway.

Not only was he born in April, but he was actually born about 6 years before originally thought. So Jesus Christ was born 6 B.C., or Before Christ. Wrap your heads around that one.

I'm not sure but I think JGold is talking about North Carolina . If not, it is a clusterfuck here now. They called for, at most, 4 inches and it is way past that now. The fact that everyone here acts batshit when it snows isn't too unheard of.

For the record, most bitch about how no one in the South can drive when it snows, but keep in mind that there are a shit ton of Northern transplants here and they can't do much better. Its not that we can't drive in the snow, its more that we don't have a Christmas Day fleet of road clearing crews.

The funny part of this is that there are a lot of people here that are going to have to spend the night with people they don't like only because they are too scared to drive home.

I'm about an hour south of Raleigh and no snow here... yet. Thankfully, I have absolutely nowhere I have to be for the next couple of days if we do get anything significant here.

Thats really strange because I'm in Greensboro and we have 4+ and Raleigh has 6+, and counting. An hour South of Raleigh and you have nothing? Not even freezing rain/sleet?

Apparently the last time it snowed here on Christmas Day was 41 years ago. That seems odd. Everyone wants a White Christmas until they have to actually deal with it.

It's raining... still 37 degrees here.

I've lived here all my life and I've never seen snow on Christmas.

Steadily drunk throughout the day...Cutty Sark on the rocks is gooooooood.

Waking up early tomorrow to pick my friend up for tailgating. The plan is to be downtown by 9 am...let's just see how this works out.

That's horse crap. I grew up in Charlotte, and I distinctly remember a White Christmas in high school. Maybe it didn't snow ON Christmas Day, but Christmas Eve, definitely.

I can't really blame North Carolinians for freaking out about the snow; they're not prepared for it. I was a giant pussy when it came to cold weather, too. Then I bought a puffy jacket, an army of wool sweaters, and snow boots, and lived in cities with more than three plows. Three inches of snow in Charlotte will be on the roads for days. Eight inches of snow in Boston/Colorado is cleared by 5 a.m. I'm not saying I don't understand and empathize, I just think it's hilarious that my Facebook news feed is exploding with people terrified of the powdery white stuff.

EDIT: The funniest thing about snow in NC was going to the grocery store the day before six inches was forecast and seeing everyone with carts full of canned food and gallon jugs of water. THE WORLD IS ENDING MOTHERFUCKERS, SEE YOU ALL IN HELL! Or in school on Wednesday when it's 60 degrees and this stuff melts.

A friend of mine in Raleigh is saying its a snowy mix up there right now, with it hopefully turning to snow later tonight.

I live about an hour South of Raleigh and last week when we got enough snow to almost kinda cover the grass my normal workday was reduced to about 2.5 hours. This was so people didn't have to drive in the crazy bad conditions coming into work and so they had plenty of time to get home safely. The snow was completely melted by noon. Can't complain with Southern drivers when it gets me workdays like that.

If I had an Atari I'd probably cry if it broke. I'm still recovering emotionally from when my Sega broke a few years ago. Some therapist is going to strike it rich if my original Nintendo finally bites the dust.

Christmas drink of choice: Glass+Ice+Red Stag. Really sweet but fucking delicious.

Hit the ditch in the middle of the drive back to the airport. Ironically it happened right in front of a tow truck driver's farm.

Flight back has been delayed twice already. Shoot me, please.

Fucking copycat. I'm kidding. It does actually scare me a little that a fellow TiB member lives so close.

But yeah there's no doubt in my mind that it's going to snow and we'll get a few inches. I think snow is pretty and all but I don't like it when it sticks around for long. I wouldn't mind enough snow/ice to go sledding though... we sled on a road so it's got to be kinda substantial.

This was the shit in Wisconsin where I grew up. Find an unplowed road with at least a few inches of snow. Tie a few ropes off to the back of someones 4x4 truck. Get dragged behind at 40+mph on some shitty sled down the road. Bonus points for an awesome wipeout.
