    In pictures it's cool because all other stimuli are mute. As for video pornography, them new fangled movin picture shows, lesbo porn is quite a bit weaker than straight porn. IMHO

    At the risk of sounding like Durbanite, what's the point of a pic like this anyway? It's just kind of there, with no context or anything. I mean when I was 15 and trolling the emerging internet for omg dirty pictures something like this would be an exciting find, but now it's just completely boring and uninteresting. And without any artistic merit (not that it's trying to be, after all it's just a still from a porn video) it's really just pointless.

    I'll stop now before I break down into a rant about how pretty much all porn made these days is terrible and an affront to my aesthetic porn sensibilities.

    I didn't know any picture was required to have a point, particularly a pornographic one. Isn't it enough to be, to some degree, suggestive and/or sexually compelling?

    Damn. Dude. I'm all for artistry in porn. Perfect lighting, emotional intensity, passion. However sometimes, usually after 6 double white russians, you just have to CONSUME a woman. Sometimes a poorly lit shot of a girl in Buffalo Bill's basement is just right.

    But I will give you this, porn is getting on my nerves too. Some of it is just disgusting and boring. You can DP a girl, fine. Just have some chemistry, some passion, grace. Or at least stop her from sounding like a donkey getting fed into a meat grinder.

    What degree is that picture suggestive? It's plainly a girl tied up getting fucked from behind. I don't think it leaves anything to "suggest." I mean I don't actually care, a porno pic is a porno pic, but I thought it was funny that you'd say it is suggestive.


    Edit: Im actually glad porn has evolved to the state it is in now. I have never once watched a porno "movie" from beginning to end. Who the fuck cares to see pornstars force laughably bad writing and acting on you when you are just there to see some fucking?

    It is short and too the point. Bring girl into apartment/studio/bang bus, 2 minutes of idle chit chat, 5 minutes of foreplay and oral sex, 10-15 minutes of fucking, bam next scene. Plus you can zip right through the boring shit.

    Instead of a contract star only doing 2.5 scenes a movie, 3 movies a year. They have to do hundreds of videos just to keep up with the flood of hotter younger talent. God Bless Capitalism.

    Meh, I guess I'm just jaded. Stills just don't work unless the subjects are actually posing for them, IMO. A random shot from a porn video just doesn't do anything for me.

    The picture is not merely suggestive, it's completely graphic. It is sexual in nature, though, and somewhat compelling. It's about as subtle as a kick in the groin, but isn't the majority of porn like that? I'm not defending this picture per se - it's nothing to write home about - but isn't that pretty much what the vast majority of porn is? A graphic image regarding sex? Trakiel seems to be arguing that, in addition to being sexually graphic, a pornographic picture must also serve a higher purpose. I don't think that's the case. That confuses porn with art. Sometimes they may combine, but they aren't required to.

    Completely agree with you on all points. My gripe boils down to the fact that the people in and making porn just don't even bother trying anymore. They just go through the motions, which is boring as fuck. A dirty, nasty fuck in a dingy basement with a tied up women could be really fucking hot, but today's porn producers will give you a bored looking woman with some fake restraints in a half-lit storage room and and pretend it's enough. Fuck that shit.

    This having the week off shit, I could get used to. Haven't had a wake n' bake in some time.

    I recently bit the bullet and watched that notrious footage of Lady Gaga performing at Lallapalooza wearing what appeared to be just her gross self. Umm...I don't know for sure if this broad has conflicting personality issues, but I do know two things. One: her hair isn't speaking to her eyebrows (and trim those goddamn things. They look like sod farms for the Lillith Fair's armpits). And two: pop music fans must think it's funny that their #1 star is a brazenly raging psychopath.

    Now it's on to more laundry room renovation (gotta love work on vacation!!!). Hoping to paint and get the floor down today and not run into any other monstrously retarded fuck-ups the previous owners left me with.
