I made my little sister listen to this song tonight (or last night, rather. the 31st, whatever.)

Her birthday is on New Years Eve, which must suck. She turned 21, so after I gave her the lecture about how you need to watch your ass if you're hanging out with people that are younger than you so that you don't end up with a contributing to minors ticket she went off with a bunch of friends that are younger than her. I haven't got a call yet, but I hope to god that she doesn't get a ticket. She's not stupid girl, but she hadn't even thought about the stuff I was talking to her about. Shit, when I turned 21 it was like a switch flipped in my head that I still liked my underaged friends but not enough to get a fucking ticket for them. I'm sure they thought I was an asshole, but fuck 'em. In MO the law would have fucked me over had I gone on that float trip and got pulled over by the water patrol (which they did and they all got tickets.) I had a whole new state of mind once I was of age, but what can I say? I'm mature fore my age. Yeah right.

 

If they were any kind of friends they wouldn't rat.

 

I passed up the float trip because they were taking one raft. I would have been on eo f two people over 21. If the raft got pulled over by teh water patrol (which it did) then anyone in the raft over 21 woudl get a ticket for contributing. The funny part of this story is that is was for a friends bachelorette party. I actually got kicked out of the wedding for refusing to go on teh float trip bachelorette party, which they did get pulled over and they all got tickets. I hate to say I told you so, but it was defintely worth getting kicked otu of the wedding-that was way cheaper than the price of contributing to 4 minors. (In MO it's generally $500 for each minor.) What's even funnier is that I'm still good friends witht the bride adn the same can't be said for the bridesmaids who didn't get kicked out of the wedding.

Can I just say thank goodness for coffee? I've been up for a little over 24 hours now (because I'm retarded, apparently.) I'm actually not tired at all but damn does this coffee taste good.
