    That'll be a cold day in H-E-Double hockey sticks. I don't get the obsession for rep. Yes, it's fun to have and I enjoy reading the various laughs and threats I recieve, but complaining about rep is like cheating at golf: why? Some people must view it as a ranking system or something and they have to be on top. It's the quality of the posts that count, people.

    We are close to 4000 posts in this thread. I'm sure Frylock will pop up soon.

    For what its worth, I think 'sac is a hilarious fucker who sometimes had emotional outbursts not unlike your drunk uncle who pipes up from time to time from the corner at family gatherings when you think he's not listening to the conversation to say something truly fitting and absolutely hilarious. I don't know the history but it seemed like the guy was trying to get his shit together and for that I respect anyone.

    But then again, I'm the guy who will shit on crippled girls in threads about the smug. So grain of salt there.

    I thought for the most part he was a funny guy, but then again I never had a feud with him like he did with what seems to be at least five hundred different board members, and I never really knew why so many people hated him SO MUCH in the first place since I was only on RMMB for less than two years before it went kablooey.

    Do you think anyone places more value on the opinions of the posters who have higher rep than someone who doesn't? I think its rather dumb to place so much value on rep, but it allows personal commentary without having to resort to pm'ing all the time. Its more convenient.

    I certainly hope people on here are above that. I value of the opinions of certain posters, period. I know this place well enough that I know who I like and who I don't (though I don't really "hate" anyone on here since RMMB closed). I used had high rep, but that's partially because of how prolific I am on here. If you posted thousands of times eventually you'll have high rep, even if you're a total asshole*. That's why I like the fact they reset the rep on here, it prevents e-egos from swelling.
