We're celebrating my 25 birthday tomorrow night, my buddy has 6 different bottles of scotch for us to sample. This was to make up for the last 2 years we didn't do a thing because it was -40 out.

It is going to be great way to warm up after dog sledding tomorrow.

So, I need some help guys. I just bet hotwheelz that the Chiefs will beat the Broncos on Sunday. My terms were simple, a change of avatar/facebook profile picture to the opposing team if you lost. He however decided to raise the stakes.

I'm just at a loss as to what I should make hotwheelz do besides the avatar thing...any advice?

Sunday's game is at Arrowhead. The Chiefs are 5-0 at home, so if somehow the Broncos do win then I'll take any embarrassment that comes with it. Since that's not going to happen I need something good for when hotwheelz loses.

between drinking until 3 in the morn and needing to get up by 7 this week, I was a little spent when I got home today. Took a nap at like 8pm. Woke up at 2am. Now almost 5am. My nyquil-seagrams highball has barely done anything to me... god dammit.

 

My only requirements are no underwea and nothing permanent.

 

Now I'm watching Diane Lane in Unfaithful. Not as good as Lonesome Dove, but this movie is pretty hot. It's on one of my HBO channels at the moment. Apparently I won't be sleeping tonight thanks to too much caffeine today. Oh well, I don't have anything to do tomorrow anyway.

Edit: If I were married to Richard Gere I'd be unfaithful too...how can a girl ever compare to a gerbil?

 

I may or may not have accidentally slept with a very old, very large, ginger last night. I have done some really stupid shit in my life, but I have a feeling this is something I am never going to live down.

It seemed like such a hilarious idea when I was hammered. Fuck. I just spent all day on my couch feeling ashamed of myself and contemplating suicide, while my roommate just continually laughed at me.

 

Just got back from a gambling trip to Biloxi. Ended the night up about $20 after being down almost $250, so it was a pretty good night. Craps killed my bank roll, but blackjack made up for it. My roommate, on the other hand, did not have a good night, ending the night down about $600 after he half puked on the craps table and I had to basically carry his ass out. Upon reaching home, we found every door to our house locked with both locks and my key only works for one of the two locks. Both outside doors were double locked and the inside the garage door was double locked...usually only the front door is single locked, but tonight was some sort of special occasion that we didn't know about. Luckily my other roommate's half girlfriend was here, so we woke her up to let us in.

Oh, and while I'm at it, it wouldn't be a holiday drunk thread without me putting this up 93 times...

 

After a week of being home by myself - it's taken most of the day to get the place back to an only moderately disreputable state. Beds are made, dishes are mostly washed, garbage is all contained in some kind of bin or has been taken out. Computer cords are all relatively tidy. Feels distinctly unnatural. l do however now have a kitty, who's walking on the keyboard as I type this - it's a good thing she's freaking adorable.
