So this would be the most appropriate part for this thread?

I performed a 30-minute long arrangement of Carmina Burana in band back in high school. Don't judge.
Huge rave... my blog has actually started to bring in sales for my business, and it's the kind of work that I want to expand. Eeeeeexcellent. Time to celebrate with another good beer I brought home.

I went to Lazlo's in Lincoln last weekend and had their stout and porter and was impressed... it's a brew and grill house and they have their own brewery next door called the Empyrean Brewing Co. It made for a damn fine meal. When I saw the Dark Side Vanilla Porter in the same booze store that I got the Old Rasputin at, I immediately grabbed a pack. It's a crisp and clean porter brewed with vanilla beans, and there is a very smooth and mellow vanilla flavor in the aftertaste. It compliments the dark maltiness surprisingly well.

My stock of beer will help ensure a good start to the winter season.

Turns out a basement cellar (and now a messy storage room) is the perfect place for me to stash my beer. It's dark and keeps the beer somewhat chilled. Funny how that works.

I'll drink my way through the next few weeks in anticipation of Brazil and then coyote hunting season.

What is it with you people and your weird beers?

I like my beer like I like my women. Cheap, pale and weak.

Good for you. I like my beer dark, strong, and thick... I guess that's the opposite of my woman. I have no problem hammering down Natty Ice, but I paid the same amount for the cases of the Black Butte Porter. Can you really beat deals like that?

*The Busch Light in the sack was free. You can't turn down free beer. Ever.

Well that will teach me to power down my computer to go watch Prison Break when there's a hillbilly in Indiana that can't count his beers calling me out.

You know that line from Short Circuit when Johhny-Five yells at one of the evil clones:

"HEY LASERLIPS, YOUR MOMMA WAS A SNOW BLOWER!!!!!"

I would consider that a compliment if I were an evil free-thinking robot from the 1980's. Right now, my snowblower is very treasured.

    FUCK WINTER.

Am I the only one that wants to start drinking again even though it's not even 7? Probably a good thing I have work and that won't be an option.

I have a week off work, so it seemed only right that I should get up at eleven and keep drinking. Drink makes everything better, right?

Not at all. I've started already, but I work at four, so I guess I have to be reasonable.

    Fuck reason.

    That is all.

Absolutely not. I'm even going to be in the airport today, which is second only to tailgates as the most natural drinking environment. Unfortunately, my travel is work related and I have to make a good impression this afternoon. Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to enjoy more than a beer or two.

I wanted to start at 4:15 when my alarm went off. I think that pretty much guarantees me drinking at the concert tonight which I'm sure to regret when I get up at the same time tomorrow for work. That's if I manage to get to sleep at all tonight since I'm figuring I won't even make it back home until around 2 or 3. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

I love drinking in airports too, but I also hate paying airport prices for booze, I swear TSA is a conspiracy to prevent us from being able to bring in our own liquor.

I'm looking forward to several 'fuck life' and 'I'm too old for this shit' posts from you tomorrow.

Fact: when I was visiting Munich, the cheapest litre of beer that could be found (outside of hostels) was at the airport.

Germany, I tell you, is a utopia that is somehow overshadowed by Holland when it comes to the party scene. Marijuana has pretty much the same legal status, there are advertisements for brothels on city buses, and beer drinking is pretty much mandatory.

I haven't flown since September, but if it's under 3.5 oz containers and can fit in a quart clear plastic bag, you can take it through security. My last few trips I've bought at least 4 airplane bottles of assorted booze at the liquor store the night before and taken them through security. Beats paying airport prices for all my drinks, at least.

I just don't know how to count.

Oh boy did I get shithoused last night on that beer.

Got a clean fridge and a headache to show for it, though.

I hate to be clichè, but...Fuck Mondays.

So apparently I am a child in a man's body, because I spent Saturday night watching Toy Story 3 with The Girlfriend and building This:

    I know, pretty badass, right?

I did, however, get good and drunk Friday night. Had my fair share of single malt prior to heading to an Irish Pub here in town for a friends birthday where I tried a flight of Christmas beers. FYI, Shiner Cheer is fucking fantastic and will be consumed in vast quantities by me for the remainder of this holiday season.

In other news, I am taking some time off tomorrow and Wednesday. I think I may have some scotch tonight, and/or pick up some of that Shiner Cheer on the way home. I plan on having some drinks, playing some video games and posting some more fine, fine booties for everyone's enjoyment.

I'm sure there will be at least one. If I get home and decide that sleep will only make me more tired when I get up then there's a good chance I'll be back on here, so you might even get some drunk antics as well.

I had to take a computer training on drug and alcohol abuse today at work. It's like they know that I'm going to be up to no good tonight. This question amused me.

Am I the only one that expected something completely different in this picture?
