    It was actually about Ibn Khaldun and his theories on sociology and the origins of the state. The professor kept cutting me off every two minutes and asking "How is this relevant? Please, get to the point!" Once is OK, but four times in a six minute speech is a bit much. And it was supposed to be ten minutes long. And I actually did have a point, if she bothered to read the handout I printed out (because apparently she loooves handouts.) Seriously, what the fuck is this? Fourth grade? If you can't handle some scholarly research maybe you should let someone else teach.

    Yeah, I flunked her on my teacher evaluations.

    Fuck this country.

    I feel that I'm not taking full advantage of my week off. I've got the whole 'wallow in depression and do fuck all' thing down, but I haven't been applying alcohol to the mix.
